I know not everybody likes RPM, but it has it's values. Let's look at how the teams compare.

Lowry: 6.82
Oladipo: 2.59
Greek: 1.11
AD: 1.92 (low bc of injuries. Last year he was at 8)
Gasol: 3.72

Irving: -0.6 (low bc of injuries)
Wade: -1.08
DeEozan: -0.14
Aldridge: 2.15
Bogut: 3.21

Pretty clear cut for me there.


(I like RPM bc it accounts for defense, which OL's team is horrid at)

Let's also not forget that OL has no spacing. Wade can't shoot. DeRozan can't shoot. Aldridge has a decent mid range game, and Bogut has no range. My front court is huge, so enjoy coming to the lane. Greek can help out wherever he wants, because he doesn't need to worry about his man hitting an open jumper.

I pretty much always feel like OL needs to change his starting lineups. Wade, Derozan, and Bogut are all good assets, but there are some challenges to running them all at the same time (spacing, chiefly). But if you start Wes and make Derozan or Wade your 6th man, then things make more sense in terms of spacing and shots.

This isn't an easy call.

Aldridge has the best midrange jump shot in the NBA dude, or at least the 2nd. If you are going to be brutally honest about how DeRozan and Wade can't shoot 3's, at least acknowledge Aldridge is in rare air when it comes to midrange jumpers. Dirk is the only player who might be better than him at that right now, and Dirk is fading.
 
I voted for Just the Tip. I have a bias for defense, and his team would be hectic. I also like the way his pieces shuffle into different combinations. There are some deadly PnR combos, and I don't think OL's team could cope with them very well.
 
Even though I'm not a big Aldridge fan, you have to admit he is one of the few players in the NBA who currently has an unstoppable shot when he is on. Even with all your length no one can really bother an Aldridge jumper. Gobert is the only player in the NBA who I've seen give him problems is Gobert. Judging from the 23 ppg Aldridge dropped on the Pelicans I dont think Davis really bothered him or the 24 he put on Chicago.

Anthony Davis has better midrange percentages than Aldridge if we're going to be honest. Otherwise, yeah, Aldridge is better than I thought. Thought I remembered him being average. He's not. But AD is better.

10-16 best: 44.3%
10-16 avg: 41.1%

16-3 2016: 42.6%
16-3 best: 44.2%
16-3 avg: 42.1%


Davis 10-16 2016: 42%
10-16 best: 45.1%
10-16. avg: 42.7%

16-3 2016: 43.4%
16-3. Best: 43.4%
16-3. Avg: 38.9


Davis struggled his rookie year, which really brings his average down since he's only had 4 years.
 
Really tough one. Joe Johnson and David West suck going into this season imo. West already really sucks. Chandler will definitely be worse also. That's the breaker. Gotta go JTT in a close one. 7 games with multiple OT's and ish.

This is what gave me pause when voting. Maybe enough to even sway me. But I already voted. What is done is done

Lol. I wish I had lackeys. The only person I talk to outside of the board voted against me! And I have never made an alt that wasn't discovered. I don't know how to work the interwebs like that.
