The press conference is going on live now. https://www.nba.com/jazz/arena-renovation
Much, much, MUCH less than I was actually expecting, at least from the press conference. Spent a lot of time talking about the viewer experience but the details were more on the suites. Definitely raising the price on those, no doubt.
One idea someone on this site mentioned when the project was first announced that I wish they had included is a bridge to The Gateway Center. So what were you expecting?
Whose the dude in the backwards baseball cap who shows up in almost every picture, and numerous times in some of them? There are about a dozen of him in the plaza view.
So what were you expecting?

A more detailed floor plan layout of before and after renovations, not just rendered images. More rendered images of the concourse. Keep in mind, what zyzz posted has 9 of the 26 images posted that are pertinent to the "every" fan. 15 images are for the upper elite, 1% fan. There was very little that the majority would have any interest in. All that it was is more enclosed space outside, opening up the innards for crowd control, and modernizing the look. That's really it. No real details were given. Very uninspiring.

2:25 Arena will go dark after Jazz season ends. $125 million renovation scheduled to be ready for October 2017 and start of NBA season
Bridges can only go between buildings owned by the same entity? The Miller's do not own Gateway. FYI there are talks of Gateway interacting with the arena in the future. Also, Gateway is in the process of reworking both parking structures, so parking there for games won;t be a total nightmare anymore.
will rep a more obsessed version of this post. Whomever authors it.

I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you

It seems pretty reasonable of them to include a rendering of each area that they are renovating, and it seems pretty obvious that some of those areas are going to be more exclusive than others.I do not understand.
