Beatles = NOT better than Guns N' Roses.
Riiiiiiiiiiiight
Beatles = NOT better than Guns N' Roses.
Guns and Roses were a good band for like 2 years back in the day... they're like the 80's equivalent of the backstreet boys, only posing as "metal dudes".
I like Guns N' Roses music more than I like The Beatles' music, but when talking in terms of greatness, Gn'R are not even in the same ballpark as The Beatles (who are, arguably, the most influential band ever.)
Scenario 1: You're being sarcastic, or just joking around
Scenario 2: You were accidentally injured at the '92 Metallica-GnR show in Montreal, and now harbor a deep resentment
Scenario 3: You were accidentally injured trying to break up the Axl Rose vs. Tommy Hilfiger scrap, and now harbor a deep resentment
Scenario 4: Your grasp of rock n roll history is tenuous, at best
Am I close?

He was actually the guy who took the picture of Axl Rose in St. Louis and resents that he got his *** kicked by him.
The Beatles got old for me fairly quick. Personally, I prefer Stars on 45 Medley over any single Beatles song.
Zeppelin is going to take this **** though. Man, just think of how boss 80's Zeppelin would have been. I mean, In Through the Out Door was their best album for me, 80's Zepp would have ruled hard.

Interesting. Do you have any more opinions to show just how ****** your musical taste is?
Zeppelin beats the **** out of The Beatles any day. Now screw off old timers.
Damn dude. That's like seriously some way out ****ing **** right there.

Again, I'm not a big Beatles fan, but it's difficult to argue against the impact they had/have.
IMO they aren't the best band ever, but they are certainly the greatest.

I think they're the most influential band ever, but certainly not the greatest.
The greatest goes to one band, who stood for everything rock and roll is about. I don't call them the greatest, because that's my opinion. I call them the greatest, because they are the greatest.
Are they the best ever? Probably not. Most talented musicans? They're up there. Influential? Meh.
Greatest band ever? Hell ****ing Yes!!!
