Washington (CNN)Donald Trump suggested Monday that American soldiers and veterans who commit suicide do so because they can't handle the post-traumatic stress of war."When you talk about the mental health problems, when people come back from war and combat and they see things that maybe a lot of folks in this room have seen many times over and you're strong and you can handle it but a lot of people can't handle it. They see horror stories, they see events you couldn't see in a movie, nobody would believe it," Trump said Monday, during a panel interview at the Retired American Warriors PAC, in Herndon, Virginia.

The Trump campaign did not immediately return a request for comment Monday.
The number of suicides and other grave effects from PTSD in the military has skyrocketed, causing alarm both inside the military and in the public at large.

I'm not even talking about crafting something like this; I'm talking about delivering the sentiment within a speech, written by a speech writer. Also, what do you think of Trudeau so far?

I try to resist the trolls as much as possible. I don't even read some posts by many of these trolls, I am weak sometimes though. On a similar not, is Computer Hack? I was away for a while.

Meh. Better than Harper, but the bar isn't high. I just fear it's more of the same neo-liberalism wrapped in a very good looking package.

I don't think I'm joking. Listening to the crowd respond to Trump, it's the crowd, not Trump, that really concerns me. People really are that stupid. Pretty damn elitist of me, but really, people need to be protected from themselves if they think things are so bad it's OK to make Donald Trump President.

I think if he is elected, he'll make these rallies a staple of his term. Won't be able to live without them. Him and his followers. Maybe he really is just building a cult. If every candidate for President has followers that can easily fall into the role of personality cult members, maybe Trump is actually creating a personality cult Presidency. More cult leader then elected official. More infallible leader then one of the people. Chief Peacock, not Chief Executive.
He really does seem to take every little slight personally, doesn't he? We could be seeing a pretty sick puppy get elected President here methinks. I hope it happens in an alternate universe.

Bill Clinton wont claim his son he had with a hooker. Probably because the kid is half black.

The Clintons are just as racist as Trump. Probably more so.

How does the left justify this news?

Ok let me put it to the dense liberals this way. If you republicans are chearleeding Trump taking advantage of the system than I never want to hear you say anything about those taking advantage of the welfare state again. Ever.

How do you justify believing the kid is Bill's son? There's no evidence at all, that I've seen.
