This is easy to explain.
Gordon Hayward recently got hot. He has made 8 out of his last 9 three pointers (one game he was 5-5) The entire season he has made a total of 21. This means that three weeks ago, Gordon Hayward was 13 of 37, or 35.1%

Gordon is a decent 3 point shooter. I'd still take Landry Fields, Gary Neal or Wesley Johnson over him (if we are just talking about shooting 3's.) For total # of 3 pointers made, Hayward is 9th.
"Recently got hot"...this is not a CJ streak we are seeing. He has been hot for a few months: Via @lockedonsports after the Houston game on Sunday:
Gordon Hayward just hit a three and since Dec 1st is 18 of 36 from three - that is 50%
He then went 2 for 2 last game making it 20 of 38 since Dec 1st. I'll take a three month long streak shooter over a player that doesn't even start a hot streak. The kid has upped his game and shows a lot of potential. I'm happy with the pick.
