UCLA is ranked #11.
Loved the line about UK being "number one in your hearts."

If Tom Welsh goes for 20/10 again in the post against Kentucky like last year, at least we'll all know not to pick Kentucky in our brackets again this year. That's the ultimate litmus test. Next 4 months of gelling/getting better don't even matter if that happens.

Yup. Looks like a complete team. This is my first extended look at them this year and they can play offense at every level....3 shooters...mid-range/pick and pop.....they can throw it in the post/have guards that can get to the rim. And they have guys that can defend every level too. Impressed.
Do they even have a bad rotation player? It seems like they can all shoot. Just hate when Alford tries to force things one on one. He so badly wants to play hero ball but luckily Lonzo is there to keep him off the ball.

GG or whatever the hell they are calling that foreign big seems to be their worst player that plays. But he's long and serviceable enough if they just need to plug him in for a few minutes here and there to bang in the post/stick his arms up a bit.

UCLA is really impressive. Ball of course, but Leaf was one of the few HS players that impressed me every time i saw him in HS. He does it quietly, but so far all he does at UCLA is produces. Shoots a good %, rebounds and knocks down a three occasionally to remind you he can step out. Bad ***.

Welsh might have gotten 20/10 if not for foul trouble.

Welsh is on the 2nd rd radar. Said it a long time ago. UCLA is loaded with prospects. Hamilton will get looks. Holliday will get looks, his minutes were key.

Anibogu was a factor. He's a possible 1st rd pick but they list him at 6'10 and he looked shorter than Bam.

TJ Leaf was the big difference maker though. I really question how much of a better prospect Tyler Lydon is than him. Leaf's handle is better he's probably taller too. He's going into the 1st rd of my mock.

good game. I think UK would take them out in a rematch. They missed some bunnies and some wide open J's that they'll make when locked in.

I wish Mulder would get some minutes though.

those out of bounds turnovers by Briscoe were really poorly timed.
