2016-17 Hype Train Playoff Chase!!!

Oh damn. He looked very focused and motivated when he played. Had some unlucky plays though.
Guess it has more to do with practice. Too bad that the Jazz have such a crowded schedule right now where he can only work out individually.
BTP sorry it was a tweet not an article. I think it was Ben Dowsett. Implied some may not agree with the approach but how often has Snyder missed with player development?

Ye, I hear you. I just don't think that Mack's current level of play warrants the educational approach with Exum. Hope he'll at least get 10-15 min next week again.

I agree but it appears that Mack's level of play is not entering into that equation. Jazz should win a bunch over the next month and Snyder knows it. He is taking advantage of the schedule to get in Exum's head IMO.

Diabolical. I like it.

Grizzlies record is completely blowing me away at this juncture.

Mike Conley to miss 6 weeks due to a fracture in his lower back... looks like Memphis is due for a rough patch now. Our chance to pounce.

Sucks that he is hurt and it is always more enjoyable for me when we beat other teams while they are full strength. But that's the NBA and I expect them to start to lose a little more.

Jazz are coming for the 4th seed. Starting tonight when they make Clutchfans go full hormonal 13 year old.

LAST NIGHT WAS PERFECT!!!!!!!

Jazz won! not only did they win the did so in a dominate fashion over a potential playoff rival. Gobrt and Hayward imposed their will on the game. Beautiful. Jazz are now the #3 defensive team and #10 offensive team (according to twitter). Suck it Rockets. AHAHAHAHA

Sothe Rockets lost (snicker) as did the Spurs, Clippers and Lakers .

The only other western team to win was the Pelicans. They might be heating up as they are 6-4 over their last 10. Keep a long view eye on them.

WOOT WOOT

Tonight's games:

Kings @ Sixers
Grizzlies @ Raptors
Lakers @ Bulls
Wizards @ Thunder
Knicks @ Wolves
Spurs @ Mavs
Heat @ Nuggets
Hawks @ Suns
Pacers @ Blazers

Even though the Jazz do not play tonight it could be a big night for the team. Especially if the Grizzlies, Thunder, Lakers and Blazers all lose.

Love that the Rockets symbol is in the trash can hahaha. And no JJ or Burks but still amazing.

Last night's recap:

Not nearly as good as it could have been.

But the Grizzlies lost which is nice. Kings game got postponed.

Lakers, Thunder (damn), Spurs, Blazers and Suns all won.

The Mavs, Nuggets and Wolves also lost.

Tonight's games:

Mavs @ Hornets
Magic @ Grizzlies
Clippers @ Cavs
Heat @ Jazz
Rockets @ Warriors

It could be another stellar night for Utah. If the Jazz win and the Grizzlies, Clippers and Rockets lose that will put Utah ahead of the Grizzlies and Rockets and tied with the Thunder for the 4th and 5th spots. It will also narrow the gap with the Clippers to 2 games.

Summary of the Jazz 20+ games in:

The Jazz, when moderately healthy, are absolutely a top 4 team in the West and a top 6 over all. Hill has shown s how pronounced the lack of PG has been the last couple seasons. Even being the most injured team in the NBA the teams net rating is the 4th best in the league. The combo of Hayward, Hill and the Jazz D is lethal. If the Jazz are fully healthy going into the playoffs. Then they could end up in the WCF if the matchups work out and we get lucky. Hill must be extended 2-3 years. #1 priority IMO.

If fully healthy the Jazz are 17-4 IMO. That's not a stretch. They would have won @ Hornets, v. Grizzlies, v. Bulls, @ Nuggets and v. Heat.

The 4 losses would only be @ Portland, @ Clippers, v. San Antonio and @ Rockets.

I know, I know, hypotheticals and "if only"s don't mean crap. But Hill is almost back and Favors and Burks have been on the court working out and putting up shots. It is getting closer.

When health arrives the Jazz will be on fire and rise up the ranks. Watch and see.

Favors has been troubled with a knee problem for much of the season. He missed the previous nine games and is expected to return against the Lakers.

From nba.com

is it true!!!?!?!!

Not sure about him being close to return but the Utah Jazz tweeted that Hill, Burks and Favors are out for the Lakers. I don't think any of them even traveled with the team.

Tonight's games:

Jazz @ Lakers (Jazz should get the W, yes we are injured but they are really banged up as well)

Nuggets @ Sixers
Thunder @ Hawks
Blazers @ Bulls
Spurs @ Bucks
Grizzlies @ Pelicans
Celtics @ Rockets
Hornets @ Mavs (at this point I want to weaken the Mavs draft odds)
Pacers @ Warriors

Tonight could be very good or bad for Utah. All the main competition is playing. Grizzlies, Lakers, Blazers, Grizzlies and Rockets. If the bolded teams win than Utah is tied with Memphis and OKC, 2 games ahead of Portland, 3 1/3 ahead of the Lakers and 1/2 game behind the Rockets who are in the 4th spot.
