Jazz at Dubs Official Game Thread -- 8:30PM MT: NBATV, ROOT

I like that they are toying with us. More ammo for when we kick their *** in the playoffs.

The Warriors have two MVP caliber players and two all stars. All of them can shoot the lights out, and collectively they play great defense. Jazz have to slow the game down and pound them if they want a shot to compete with them. It might not be the 90's anymore, but doesn't mean it's not a viable game plan. Nobody can keep up in a shootout with this team. It's my opinion that you have to beat the shot out of them (like the Pistons of old) instead. Nobody is willing to be the team to try it though. If just one team would do it, I bet others would follow and they'd be so beat to **** by the end of the year that their game wouldn't be as effective.

It isnt a viable gameplan at all. Foul a really good shooting team so they get into the bonus quicker? Brilliant. Just great gameplan. It's a terrible opinion and has no statistical value in the modern game. I guess it sounds cool and macho, like lets "lets show them how tough we are and foul them really hard. Maybe they will stop playing because we fouled them so hard". When in reality, they just get more FT's and shake it off. If the foul is too hard, our players get flagrants and the refs just tighten their whistle which would further benefit the better FT shooting Warriors.

If we want to beat this team we have to be 100% healthy, hit our open shots, and penetrate their defense. Diaw will have to actually hit shots to make himself a threat and Hill has to be in the game to breakdown defenses and open up driving lanes for Hayward.

We've shown we can play some decent D to slow them down, hard fouls arent necessary. What is necessary is limiting TO's and actually making shots to prevent their quick attacking offense. Also kind of necessary to play Exum and Mack less than 20 combined minutes.

We need a Dennis Rodman. Is there a Rodman type player in the league?

Sorry, but this is objectively wrong.

It is not objectively wrong. It is your opinion that it is wrong.

Healthy Favors > Healthy Hill
Both defensively and offensively. Better players help more and demand more attention and space the floor out more. Hill is a better shooter than Lebron James but James would help space the floor more and help the team win more. That is an extreme example but still makes my point and my opinion.

Favors is would help in this game more than anyone who is injured for the Jazz. Not the hobbled/out of shape 15 min a game Favors but a full strength Favors in game shape and in rhythm.

Snyder has control of the Jazz team and their predictable .....does Snyder freeze up against good teams because his team chokes and plays tight

Shut up, lol.

Watch the game ,Jazz were tight from the opening shot and tell me when they loosened up ....they havent

I'm not saying they aren't playing tight. I just find it laughable how every time the Jazz lose you make some irrational obscure reach to put the blame on Snyder.

No, it's wrong.

Our problem is lack of spacing and playing huge net negatives at the PG position. Quin even tried to go PG-less and playing Neto this game, that should tell you you how much we need Hill.

Favors isnt some kind of low post savant. I'm not even positive he could expose KD on the block, especially not if they are free to double off Mack or Exum.

I want a healthy starting 5 of Hill, Hood, Hayward, Favors and Gobert for the playoffs. Start there. Not sure who rounds out the playoff rotation. Mack/Exum were horrible. They'd cost us the series playing like they did tonight. Burks, Jingles, JJ and Diaw would seem the safest bets. The Jazz simply can't afford to make mistakes. Limit turnovers, play good defense and hit your shots.

your full of it ,pay more attn to the game than what I have to say ,you might catch the play

i wonder how Exum would be by now in a different system. Watching him think and play to not f@#$k up and get yanked is excruciating.

Yeah like Luke Walton...even Steve Kerr ,Kerr's young guys play more natural than Exum and Lyles play under Snyder
