I think you took it about 180 degrees from the way Game meant. Sometimes, a tinge of sarcasm mistaken for a factual assertion can do that to you.

And yes, Game. There is one sspect of a political "culture" that comes with immigrants from banana republics and other very corrupt countries where it's a way of life to give bribes or gifts for every official you need to do something for you. Where people take gifts in exchange for votes, and yes where political "community organizers" watch the polls and verify their bought and paid for votes are delivered, and they do all this in broad daylight. Nobody questions it, even.

It has nothing to do with race or any of the generally wonderful cultural traditions, it's just one aspect of political influence "bartering". You know, like the Clinton Foundation or the State Dept. "bargaining" for donations to a private fund.

I've seen, for example, a Ph.D scientist offering such "gifts" to the Dept. chief, who got quite pointed about explaining we don't do things that way here. If we don't want our sensitivities about values just over-run we gotta throw the bums out who do stuff like that.

Good riddance Obama and Clinton.

The immigrants will actually thank us if we do. Nobody really wants to live that way, it's just something that is that way and people just can't get around it in a corrupt officialdom.

all 3rd world countries do this, trust me i have moved around alot, seen em all from different perspective.

THEY COMPALIN that they have it bad in their country! so some move whether legal or illegally to another country, because that country is BETTER!

but then the majority of those people, are like in our country we had X or in our country we had Y! but instea dof syaing **** off if you want x and y go the f back to your country, you fascist pig.
we go like hmm we must tolerate, lets do that!

and it goes from small irrelevant thing, to big things changing the FABRIC of the political culture thereby turning the host nation, into the ****ty 3rd world country those people came from!

I am not against open borders! but before i would agree to open borders, there must be some major changes. first of my taxpayer dollars do not go to others.
sure i wanna pay taxes, becuase i use the road a road is not free. i am paying my fair share.

but taxes are used to support thes epeople from 3rd world coutnries, so they go out and vote for their 3rd world backwards stuff.



and if you REALLY WANNA help these people. do you know the cost of helping 1 refugee in host country is on par with helping 12 refugees in native country.

so if u wanna help them dont give em a single dollar if they are in your country, spent that money on helping 12 others in the host country. after all mostly men come to the host country. and women and children are the one needing HELP!
 
This is as good a thread as any.

One thing I am going to miss is the current Presidents lack of personal scandals. Good family man and that was always good to see.

Me too.
Classy, respectful, smart, well spoken and never someone who I felt embarrassed to call my president.
Managed to keep his composure despite constantly being blamed for anything and everything (thanks obama tagline became quite popular).

Only one to mention marriage was you. So not sure what that is about.

It shows loyalty to his wife and kids. No personal scandals. Now a single person is certainly capable of not having personal scandals and being a great leader/president.

But I like the look of a family man/woman in the office of President. It's small and wouldn't stop me from voting for someone who was single. I just like the way it "looks".

But face it libs, the OCE didn't stop lots of money going to congressmen under questionable ethical circumstances. I think the idea here is to eliminate political grandstanding by a little committee with questionable motives and needed to be watched themselves.

Now, if political corruption were something the mainstream media was really hot and bothered about, they would have had plenty to ask about Obama and Clinton, Reid and Pelosi.

press watchdog has long been fat with the lumps of meat tossed over the fence while politicians make off with our silverware and shirts.

As for the rest of your statement, I suppose you get some sort of virtual fistbump for just coming out about how superficial and "looky" it is.

And, no, it definitely does not show loyalty to spouse and kids. There are millions of counterexamples to this.

I never mentioned marriage. You can be a family man/woman without marriage. Happens all the time.

Stop reading what you want and read what's written. That's what I see and you don't like it, tough. I enjoyed the Obama's family image and will miss it when it's gone.
