Following potential 2017 draftees...

Dr. Jones The Fox injury isn't serious right? Just a rolled ankle? Also do you have any tidbits on Bamba's visit?? I so desperately want to see that NY Trio in Lexington.

Fox is fine.
Haven't had a DL from the visit yet, but staff is feeling pretty confident.

Green
Diallo
Shai
Washington
Vanderbilt
Richards
Bamba

That's a pretty healthy class. Add Knox? Fuhgettaboutit.

that team would have some kind of personality. Knox is overkill. As long as Bamba's on board I'm elated.

if you really look at these UK classes Coach Cal seems to recruit defense first and then tries to make everything else work. Which is admirable and probably the safest move when talking in a one-and-done factory type of situation.

That class is absurd defensively SG-C.. There's a massive and obvious downgrade at point from Fox though (which is no surprise) Unusual depth at C and especially SF for a Cal class.

Bamba is the crown jewel and he's uncommitted still so I don't want to get too far ahead of myself..

De'Anthony Melton is an absolute demon defensively. I love it. He's easily one of the best in this class on that side of the ball.

There's some Elfrid Payton parallels, he's not a natural PG like that though..... He's a PROJECT thru and thru but a damn interesting one that shouldn't be overlooked.

Would love to see him get one of those 4 year 2nd rd pick deals and stashed in the D-league for a season or 2.

Elijah Stewart with 29 on 7/13 from 3. He's a long-armed athletic 6'5" swingman with defensive potential shooting a cool 40% from 3 on over 6 attempts per game. He's a Jr. 2 weeks younger than Lyles.

I could see him sneaking into the 2nd rd this year..

Hmm, guess consistency isn't his thing - Went scoreless in 20 minutes vs the Utes

USC is such a young team and they play like it. I've caught like 10 games this year and you just never know exactly what youre going to get (other than like 3+ spectacular defensive plays from Melton and 2+ athletic plays from Metu)

The Utes jumped all over them in that game right?

Catching the Marquette-Creighton replay now. Justin Patton makes about 3 spectacular plays a game, if he somehow landed on the Jazz he'd produce a "Where did they find this guy?!?" type of response from the casual fan.

There's definitely something to Chris Mullin's Marcus Camby comparison, the spectacular plays he makes are Camby-esq

Giles is playing very well in this frst half vs NC State.. I don't understand why people ask me wheres Marques Bolden on the mock.. do they watch duke? he looks like a HS player out there to me..

DS4's doing his part 18 and counting.. If Terry Henderson was playing his normal game this would be closer to tied than a 6pt advantage.

Matt Jones has been whitehot of late.

dennis smith is really some kind of PG prospect, I'd take him over George Hill next year. He's got that look if I've ever seen it. The CP3 comps are legit.

He always looked like a lottery pick to me from day 1. I remember posting about him here when he was first blowing up. He's an excellent player, don't let anyone tell ya anything less..

Utah would be a dream spot landing scenario for him too if he cares to land somewhere in the race and that needs him to play heavy minutes(More so if Hill walks).. He'd be like adding scrappy doo to our already beastly SG-SF-PF-C rotation..

Yes they did, which surprised me, I thought USC was going to be better this year than what we saw.

Well if you catch them on the right night they're still very, very dangerous - they need the firepower Boatwright provides back in the lineup though, he's gonna get drafted.

McLaughlin the PG I thought would be a more consistent scorer for them, when he's locked in they're definitely a different team. Rakocevic doesn;t look half bad off the bench.

Duke transfer Derryck Thornton will help them greatly next season - I like their crew moving forward.

Poor showing from Tatum, missed like 3-4 bunnies. I've long suspected Isaac is a better prospect, this game only reinforces that.

Andrew Jones (who I'd still take in the late 1st rd if I was making the picks) with 16-8rebs 3 ast 3 stls and a great gamewinning 3 while Fran Frachilla is calling for him to go to the basket LOL. Hell of a win.

Kristian Doolittle 6'7" Fr on OU is a legit NBA prospect and will end up on DX's list eventually. 29 and 10 tonight. HE's shootign in the high 30's from 3 on low volume, if he can increase that he's in for sure. Good looking shot.

Zach Collins on Gonzaga manages to put up these 13pt - 8 reb type of games in just like 15minutes of play consistently.

There's like 10 good games tonight. Good thing i post about this **** elsewhere -- This thread and the college basketball one are pretty much on life-support.
