As for Exum to D-League, are we sure he isn't on some kind of minutes restriction?
this ain't "hate," kid. It's a video. Of what actually happened.
Both those plays are late in the 4th quarter with the Jazz up by 23.
But sure, Dante is the first player ever to play lazy defense late in a game during a blowout.
Nothing to see here.

20 pts up with 5 minutes to go. Why not let him play out the game and show him the footage after the game. Or use a timeout and spend the entire timeout talking to him.
... similar to what happened to Gordon way back when Delonte West taunted him. But Gordon has certainly turned that around. Let's hope Dante does the same...

Usually when you're struggling to get pt, you try your best to win over the coaches and instill confidence that you deserve more pt. The score is irrelevant. Dante's attitude and poor effort are relevant. Playing lazy and stupid is a poor method of encouraging the coaches to play you more.
Sports 101.
I'm not sure what the fuss is all about.
It wasn't that bad, Exum may have overplayed it a little but he got back and contested the shot.
I actually just saw Isiah Thomas do the exact same thing twice today in consecutive plays, its not uncommon for guards to get screened and then lose a little sense of direction.
Whats the hate for Exum all about, he plays stuff all minutes but people criticise every move, whilst George Hill escapes any negativity about is poor play recently.

OP forgot to post the vid of the next play where Rudy/Hill left Maker even more open for his next 3 ....
I guess one could argue that both Hill and Rudy have a history of good d which gives them a pass.
Or you could just watch games and clearly tell Hill is better.DRPM is a more accurate measure of defense to use because it adjusts for the impact of teammates and opposing players. It pegs George Hill as the 7th best defender in the NBA among PGs (Exum is 52nd).

Yes, in most cases if a player plays like s*** then his minutes are restricted by the coach.
