Lol we paid him $11 million a year
So, you are proving my point. Good players don't come here unless we overpay them. More reason to try to trade for a player like Lillard.
Thanks.

Pacers going nowhere fast. I actually think there's a good chance he signs up with the Lakers, reportedly his hometown.
The Lakers arguably would have more talent going forward with all their young guys PLUS another great pick this year.
Or more reason to not hinder ALL cap flexibility and ALL lineup depth and flexibility with a point guard (the most over-saturated, least valuable position) who can't stay in front of anybody.
I bet you thought the same thing about Harden...What a overvalued position and Harden...man, he can't stay in front of anybody. Yet, there is Harden, on a team with less talent than we have, looking down on us from the standings.
Weird, right?
Where's Lillard again?
Last year, he took a team with less talent than the Jazz had to the playoffs. So...when has Favors, Hayward, Gobert, Hood, Burks, Exum, etc done that? It wasn't until we obtained very, very good player in Hill that we became a playoff team.
Imagine what would happen if Lillard, who is better than Hill, joined this team?
This is what the Jazz should be focusing on. Anyone and anything other than Gobert, Hayward, Hill and Hood should be on the table.
He's not joining this team. You're trading this team for him. Comparing him to Harden is ridiculous as well.
If there was any chance of this deal happening without Trading Gobert or Hayward, you are almost certainly gone have to give up Hood.
Hood, Favors, GSW 1st, Our 1st, OKC 1st too much/Enough? Of course, you'd likely have to take on 1 guy the Pacers didnt want.
This is true. When Harden was traded, he wasn't a proven commodity. Lillard is. Lillard is a much smaller risk trading for than Harden was.
Lillard in the not an all star tier.Much smaller deal as well. And mostly comparing them as players, not their deals. Harden is is tier 1 right now of NBA talent.
Hill-Mack
Butler-Burks
Hayward-Ingles
JJ-Diaw-Lyles
Gobert-Withey
Maybe we could get Gibson back as well and start him.
Butler's contract is so effing good you have to throw the kitchen sink at the Bulls for him. This is a hell of an opportunity and I think Exum, Hood, Favors, three 1sts in this draft and a 2019 1st would be really tough to pass up if you're the Bulls.
