Quotes from the Clippers forums after game 1 - "joe Johnson f***ing Joe Johnson"

and one dude (kind of prophetically it turns out) says "we're not even thinking about this game or series, this is a bump in the road. We're already in round two." and 2,the looks on clippers fans' faces as we were walking out of the stadium was Glorious! They looked like someone had just run over their puppy or they just found out that out Santa's not real. Awesome.

Yup. I remember that dude. **** that guy!

That last play was brilliant perfection. The Jazz knew exactly what to do and who to get the ball to whether the Clippers scored or not, and they knew to get a switch on Crawford, even though Joe already had a pretty good mismatch with Griffin on him. Perfection.

Who said this?

It looks like even Clippers fans agree. Doc Rivers is one of the most overrated coaches in NBA history. Amazing what scoring a couple superstars overnight and winning can do for you.

Remember when he was coaching in Orlando. He blew a 3-1 lead to Detroit and he had the 2nd best wing in the league, Tracy McGrady.

You should have come up to my section. I'm sure you were on the court or in a sky box but you shoulda come by and said hi.

The Clippers have good pieces, but don't seem to have the synergy/chemistry of a true contender. The whole is LESS than the sum of its parts. I don't see them ever going from good to great.

What will make up for the absence of Rudy is that our team is still greater than the sum of its parts--and Snyder is largely responsible for that. We're really fortunate to have him.

They don't like each other and I think most of the truly great teams don't just play well, they enjoy playing with each other. It shows. And they win.

I think the problem is they have 3 stars, Blake, CP3 and DeAndre, and only 1 of those seem like he gives a ****. The other 2, Blake and DeAndre have this jovial, nonchalant attitude, and you just can't win with those personalities. You need to really want it.

Swapping Blake for somebody like Jimmy Butler I think could propel that team into the next level.

Blake carried them for 3 quarters. If anything CP3 played it too casual and waited too long to turn it on.

They'd be better off letting Griffin go and getting some starting caliber wings.

That's the conventional view it seems. I don't know what the Clips record without Paul is, but I bet it's pretty good. But I don't know. Obviously CP3 is a great player, so maybe they can give it one more go with him at the helm.
