What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Here's Hamidou(#35 in white) vs Keith Williams(#24 in black). there's tons of highly ranked prospects in this game. Including UK's Nick Richards(#30 in white) and Jordan Tucker who appears headed to Duke. and Isaiah Washington(#7 in white) who's an underrated 4-star PG headed to Minnesota, Washington and Williams should both be top-50.

You can see Diallo take the ball coast to coast in like 4 seconds after a block 6minutes in.

In terms of age, physical measurements and college stats, Semi has some similarity to Jae Crowder entering the 2012 draft. Semi's steals aren't as good, suggesting that he might not be quite as laterally quick. I think with these strong power wings the key may be how quick their feet are. Semi looks to be at least as explosive as Stanley Johnson a couple years ago, so that's a plus.

I don't think you can compare Semi to Draymond until he shows he can handle the ball and make plays with the pass.

Draymond and Jae Crowder both much more natural on the wing. Semi's recently transitioned there.

I see a few guys who could go 31-40 but found it funny there could be such a gap in PGs drafted.

Frank Jackson!! There's this major freak athlete PG Trevon Duval, a likely one and done top-10 pick waiting on Frank to sign an agent, so he can take his spot as Duke's starting PG.

What kind of guarantee do you think he's looking for to stay in the draft?

1st rd so basically one from the Jazz...

It's also conceivable that Monte Morris could go at the very end of the 1st. He's really, really, really solid.. super low turnovers, good shooter, sharp handle, good PG/makes quick reads, he's tough minded, lotta tricks in the bag.

His replacement at Iowa St. Lindell Wigginton is headed to the NBA within a few years too.

and lemme add the usual disclaimer that Seniors don't usually get my stamp of approval.

I think there are some rumblings at the Combine that DJ Wilson may return to Michigan next year. The Jazz worked him out recently, and I'm sure he was looking for feedback. Hope I'm wrong.

It's gonna be very interesting what Mo Wagner his teammate does too. I'm actually looking forward to seeing his measuremtns more than any of the others listed at the combine. Usually I have a handful of players, this years crop I'm not expecting too many surprise #'s.

I really don't think Wilsons got much of a chance to fall far. Right now I've still got him in the 20's...

In any case, he should work out with more teams.

Height and standing reach are correlated, being taller than someone doesnt cause you to have a higher standing reach than them.

The way you use the term correlation isn't clean. It's especially not ELI5 how u use it here. What you describe here are two uncorrelated measurements, even though it's possible you mean the right thing.
