Id love it if he fell to us, good fit with gobert. Shot insane 3pt%, maybe best stretch 4, defense is his shortcoming, hes explosive too has a mean slam dunk

So we add another guy at the 4 with offense and no defense...?

no. just no.
Who do we currently have at the 4 who is offense and no defense?

Very interesting tidbit on Lyles by Perrin - they asked him to compare Leaf to Lyles. If we are to judge by what Perrin said, the Jazz are still VERY HIGH on Lyles. He was glowing while talking about Lyles' ability to put the ball on the floor and create off the dribble, said this is rare("you don't see many of them"), said he's much better than Leaf at it. Said Leaf probably has better shot coming out of college than Lyles did.

This is crazy talk. We don't have any other big that has his kind of offensive versatility. If we can somehow draft Leaf, we take him and we don't even hesitate. He would fit perfectly in a Snyder offense. We just have to hope that the Jazz D with Gobert can cover up any of his limitations on D while he learns to play D.

I'm surprised Walt Perrin said the draft was strong for bigs and point guards, while lacking wings. It makes sense to talk about bigs in this draft, but outside the top 10 the PGs are slim pickings at best. It might bode well for Evans, Hart or whomever else they see as a PG.

You really forget what Lyles can do. Just because he played poorly this season doesnt erase his entire skill-set. Leaf isnt that good. He just played in a fast paced system with the best passer in the nation.

Even though I'm not a huge Lyles fan, anyone we draft at his position, he will still probably be ahead of them on the depth chart unless he royally ****s it up this year. Any 4 we draft this year is going to have a hard time getting minutes.

That quote caught my attention too, the way he talked about wings gave me the impression they were looking for a wing. They wouldn't do that would they?
