NBA Free Agency Moves in General (related to the Jazz, but not just moves made by the Jazz)

Following players on social media just screws with your head. Except for Rudy Gobert and Aaron Rodgers. Those two are fun as hell. I also follow Jingles and I'm going to add Donovan Mitchell. Everything else is too much effort.

Also, poor Hill. Listening to his agent has most likely cost him millions.

Or even 10s of millions, possibly. I think he was offered 4 years/$80 million. He probably won't get get 4 years/$70 million now, and possibly not even $60 million.

Houston, Philly, Utah, Minny out of the PG market. Spurs dropped negotiations. Remaining teams like Nuggets and Knicks are only willing/can only pay much less. Should have taken the deal Hill.

I'd have fired my agent as well.

He didn't fire THAT agent, though. If I understand things correctly his new agent is the same guy that was his "adviser" (because he wasn't licensed as an agent) back when he didn't take the Jazz's previous offer a couple of months ago.

Can someone help me understand Boris' contract. If the jazz decide to not exercise their option, can they renegotiate another contract with him?

Or, can the Jazz trade Boris before the 15th, then sign him to a contract once the new team declines to exercise their option?

For instance, could the Jazz trade Boris to Milwaukee for Jabari Parker, then sign Boris to a one-year deal after milwaukee does not exercise the option?

Yes, I think so (to the first question, maybe not the second question).

Any player who leaves a team (either through free agency or trade) can not go back to the previous team until after a full year has passed. They could re-sign him next offseason if they trade him. They can release him and still negotiate a new contract for less money, but every other team could jump in that as well - no guarantees.

This off-season is straight up comedy. The east minus wherever Lebron plays is like a d-league for the west. Rebuilding teams develop good talents who stay for 8 years until they are in their prime and then they team up with other stars in the west

Hill talking to the Lakers - what a greedy loser with a gimp toe he turned out to be.

Yet some of you wonder why Utah is last in free agency always. It's the location and the fans. You treat them like they are meat and not human beings. So if Hill wants to go to Lakers he is greedy exactly why now? Lakers are closer to winning a chip then the jazz. They got this year as a meh team and then they will most likely have Paul George and another star. I said 2 years ago it must hurt you jazz fans knowing the Lakers will win another chip before y'all even sniff your first. Now back to Hill why is he greedy? Should he just take pay cut and be happy playing for the jazz? Reggie Miller cal!ed your fan base out on national tv and he was right. Y'all have no class.

I knew all off season nuggets were going get Millsap. HE a perfect player to play next to Jokic and now Nuggets have a better starting frontcourt then the jazz!! I know most of you will disagree but they just got an all star to go along with another star. I give Gobert his credit.HE is a star in the making. Jokic and his game are completely different but both going be top 5 big guys in the league for years to come. So call them a wash and then look at pf spot and clearly nuggets are better because Millsap is 4 times better then Favors. #Fact

Millsap is not going to be an all-star in the west.
