STAYWARD

I do think if the Jazz have a shot at Gallinari they should just sign him. If Hayward cant make up his mind we should move on. Unless Jazz have some inside knowledge they are tight lipped about.

I just really hope he stays. ALL of our championship hopes rest on this decision. If he stays then we have a legitimate chance over the next 5-8 years. If he goes then it's game over. Either we try to burn it down and rebuild quickly within a few years around Rudy or (more likely because it's the Jazz way) we keep our team together, add a few vets to replace him, and fight for one of the final playoff spots every single year. Which is road to nowhere.

There's no need for that. We have a number of young players who may turn out to be great. Just add a scorer to replace Hayward. We'll be a bit worse next year, but we'll recover.

Look *******, there is a big difference between little blue dudes, and those ****ing green sons a bitches. We kick their asses at softball every single year, and we're packing major hosage compared to their tiny little wee wees.

Don't you dare lump us in with those pathetic rainbow stashers.

Apologies to all blue smurfs everywhere, i did not intend to villify blue dudes and tar them with the same brush as green smurfs and leprechauns .....

Yeah. For me this is all about being top-half of the playoff bracket next year. Without Hayward it's doubtful. With Hayward I think it's very likely.

Beyond next year... We might end up happy he's gone. Losing DWill sucked, but looking at how he declined I'm kind of happy he didn't do that here.

I think this situation is so good for Hayward the fact that he wants to leave kind of makes me want him to leave. If this isn't good enough for you then it isn't about NBA reasons, it's because you don't want to be in Utah. Thanks for giving ammo to nocoloradojazz and other asshat trolls. Thanks a bunch.

Hayward damaging the Jazz with his indecision, we could have taken Gallinari or trade for Butler.

Hayward not showing any type of respect to the Jazz fans and franchise.

I still hope he makes like DeAndre Jordan last season and decides to stay with the Jazz at the end.

btw i'm monumentally happy that George Hill ends up getting 30 million dollars less than he turned down. AND the Kings have the option on the third year. He ****ed us over hard. We don't want bitches who don't want to play for us.

I will say that Robyn isn't the biggest fan of Utah and as a devout Catholic, she would probably prefer Boston more.

So if we should blame anyone, it should be Joseph Smith.

Yes, but Thomas S. should step in and tell Gordon he can have multiple wives on the down low in Utah.

The Jazz will remain in contact tonight with the Hayward camp, I'm told. But are giving space to Hayward himself.

Cool, so nothing is happening today. Guess I can enjoy my family and friends company and stop checking my phone so much...

If Hayward leaves then we all of a sudden need two all star level players in order to be able to compete for championships instead of just one. Our cap is a mess if he leaves. We'll be just good enough that we won't have great draft picks. It destroys our position if he goes. I know we have young guys who can develop. That might be a saving grace. But it's highly unlikely that two of them develop to an all star level. And if they did, it probably won't be for another 2-3 years which damages our window with Rudy.

All of a sudden i have a lot more respect for Paul George.

I agree. IMO, our real championship hope lies in the ability of Rubio, Exum and Mitchell to be a defensive wall against Curry and Klay. And I think the repeater penalty may force GS to let someone go...perhaps Green or Klay. No way can they pay those 2 guys in a couple of years when they're due new contracts.

I'm not in the "championship or bust" camp. I'd rather we build around what we have to field the best team possible, as opposed to hoping we tank until we hit the jackpot when I'm 68 years old.

I don't get the hold up. If he is going to Boston why keep delaying it. This is really making him look bad. Bartelstine can't be happy either. He has a great reputation and this can't be a ok with this.

In order to clear max space, the Celtics would need to make a number of moves, renouncing a couple players, perhaps signing and trading a couple others, etc. So in terms of formality, the Celtics can't quite offer him the max deal just yet. That said, it doesn't sound as though he's told the Celtics he wants to play there.
