[Jones]BREAKING: Jazz willing to engage Celtics in S&T talks: But Gordon Hayward must agree

I feel like we will include one of our young pieces and I'm gonna hate it...

I highly doubt DL would trade Exum, Mitchell, or Hood.

It's going to be 2018 unprotected. I'm calling it.

Or 2018 top 3 protected, some very limited form of protection. Or maybe rights to swap their LA pick and our pick?

****ing hell. There is just no way we get this deal done without letting go of a non-protected pick. Lindsey might be throwing up a prayer right here.

Noone is trading unprotected picks anymore. Hell even Philly got no. 1 protection for their future picks for getting no. 1 this year.

Diaw's contract would cover Crowder. Picks could be exchanged.
We don't need to send Diaw though. We are sending Hayward for Crowder. The only thing I could see going back is picks but I guess if they really wanted Diaw for another trade I could see that.

Sounds like something a frat boy would say to the police, tbh.

I think everybody could get over the use of the word rape in the context it was used as a poor and classless choice but posts like this are disgusting on another level.

He wasn't being sarcastic? lolz

And honestly, I wouldnt hate giving up a non-protected pick (or very limited top 3 protection). I would assume if he got Crowder we, at the very least, are a 45 win team.

no way. Go back to admitting how wrong you've been.

Pick swap with lottery protections that eventually becomes two 2nd rounders after 2 years.

I'd be shocked if there's not some serious protections involved.

Like I pointed out several pages ago, Crowders advanced stats shows he's close to Haywards level. Bot as good a scorer, but a really good player nonetheless. It would be an AMAZING consolation price.
Between Crowder, the cap space savings and the exception we might be better off long term than we would be with Hayward staying.

The reason this hasn't gone threw is because the Celtics probably want Hood and the Jazz are probably saying "heck no," to it. We all know Crowder wants out now, and he definitely will get traded even if it isn't to the Jazz

Agreed, as long as Crowder is happy coming to Utah. Who wouldn't want to play with Rudy? Except Gordo.

I don't know your history but again, if this is something you've had to deal with personally then I'm sorry for what you've been thru. And for what you are forced to carry because of your history.

But if you're merely being offended by proxy in order to virtue signal to everyone on a sports fan forum, derailing the topic to shine a holy light on yourself then I want to out you for it.

no way in hell they are asking for Hood with any expectation of us saying Yes. And, they're already balking at paying Bradley next year. You think they want to face the Hood extension at the same time?

Hood isn't a part of this. Neither is Exum.
