What does his size question you on?
Clips of Fredette attempting long pull-up threes have given him the reputation as a selfish gunner, but this is hardly the case. Yes, BYU's offense started and finished with Fredette, but he always seemed to be a willing passer, able to hit the open man if the defense starts to focus too much on him. In addition, Fredette is a strong enough ball handler with either hand to get himself to spots on the court where he is a threat, forcing help. When that help comes, Jimmer is able to get the ball to the open man.
An average defensive player whose size allows him to be effective against many starting point guards. Would probably be more effective if he wasn’t relied upon so heavily on the other end of the floor. Gets beat of the dribble when he’s forced to close out, will keep his man from blowing by him when he’s playing one-on-one, but will give up a lot of midrange looks. Comes up with some steals due to his quick hands. Won’t deflect a lot of passes, forcing most of his turnovers on the ball. Commits quite a few fouls for a point guard, using his size too aggressively. Will play great defense in spurts, but is forced to play too many minutes to be able to put in the type of effort needed to maintain that same level of intensity for an entire game.
So, is it really out of the question for the Jazz to draft Jimmer at #6?
Yes because he will still be there at 12.
Like I said, it's a tard-fest.
What does his size question you on?
Not saying I want him, but it's not a lock that he will be there at 12, but who cares because we will win the lottery and pick first and scone. LOL....
Uh, I don't give a **** about those numbers, when I see Fredette play, he looks terribly unathletic and gets blocked by mediocre college power forwards when he goes into the lane.Whoever says Fredette is not athletic must have never seen him play, but just for good measures Jimmer has a 36 inch vertical compared to Chris Paul's 32 inch vertical and Deron Williams's 35 inch vertical. Paul and Williams seem like pretty athletic point guards to me, also has athleticism stopped Stockton or Nash from being two of the best point guards to ever play the game?
The Utah Jazz = KOC face
I'd rather take him at 12.
Yes because he will still be there at 12.
I would too, it would be awesome if we drafted Jimmer at #12, but the problem is he won't be available.
No, he won't be there at #12 the farthest he is dropping is #10 I bet you. Either Kemba Walker or Brandon Knight will go #5 to the Kings, which ever one is left will go to the Pistons at #7, assuming the Cavaliers don't get the #1 pick and get Kyrie Irving they will get Derrick Williams so they would draft a point guard at #8 and I am hearing that if Walker or Knight are not available they have interest at taking Jimmer at #8, even if the Cavaliers don't draft Jimmer at #8 the farthest he would drop is #10 to the Bobcats because they want a point guard too and Walker or Knight won't be available leaving Jimmer for the Bobcats at #10.
Considering all of that, if the Jazz really do want Jimmer they are going to have to draft him at #6 which I am saying because I really want them to draft Jimmer. The Jazz could do much worse than draft Jimmer at #6.

You are out of your damn mind if you think the Jazz would or should draft the Jimmer at 6, out of your mind! That is pure homerism at its very sickest!
