What's new

2017 Annual JazzFanz Current Players NBA Draft

I took Covington in the 8th round two years ago and some people had never heard of him. Interesting to see that his reputation has improved a lot.

I remember that. It was the first time I had heard of him.

If you keep slowly crawling like that through the draft, good luck going quicker than 1 round per day.

Everybody knows defensive stats aren't that great.

Watch him play. He's not good.

His team gets more rebounds when he's off the court. They do better defensively, when he's off the court.

He could be good, but he isn't. Watch the tape.
You be watching hella pistons games? Weird

Not when there are 9 picks ahead of mine.

I still have founded the idea of having a backup poster from opposite time zone beneficial to the draft flow.

But since the majority had the consensus on taking it slow, I didn't even point it out.

You don't watch Pistons games and study what Drummond does? lol

The dude has a combined 163 double-doubles over the past three years (most in the league) and was on an All-NBA team last year.

I watch a lot of basketball.

I read a lot about basketball.

Follow a lot of guys who know a lot about basketball.

How do you have time for anything else? Do you even sleep? I mean, **** man.

You work 60+ hours a week, you're on here a lot, and you watch a lot of basketball?

This may seem crazy, but somehow farming in the winter is kinda slow. Who woulda thought?

Oh, and we have these crazy things called smart phones. You can access the internet anywhere!!

But no, I don't sleep a lot. I have two young kids, sleep doesn't happen anymore.

Not sure if you're mixing up DBPM and DRPM Cy, but it kind of sounds like it. DBPM is not a particularly well respected stat (has Westbrook #2, Drummond #7, etc). RPM is the one Pelton/ESPN turn to for their predictions, and Silver and crew over at 538 use RAPM (similar thing without a box-score prior).

I thought I made the following post already but am having computer issues and don't see it here so I'll post it again.

I love how Sty talks out of both sides of his mouth. A little over a month ago he was saying how Iggy is breaking down. Now though, he refers to him as en elite perimeter defender and mentions his Finals MVP.

Ruflz. ****ing clown.
