The reaction to the success of the far right party in the German elections demonstrates that the German people understand their own history, their own culture, their own politics and the history of their political parties far better then so-called historical revisionists from outside Germany who want to promote the ludicrous idea that Hitler and the Nazis were Leftists. Who knows that history and politics better then the German people themselves? It is quite obvious the German people understand the Nazis and Hitler were on the far right of the political spectrum. Who knows better? The German people or somebody desperate to turn Hitler into a Leftist?

"The results provoked protests across Berlin and other German cities, with groups of people chanting "Nazis out!" "Racism is not an alternative," and "AfD is a bunch of racists," German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle reported."
Even Socialist media organs recognized the far right party in Germany is the philosophical heir to the Nazis:

The AfD also pulls the mainstream parties to the right. Last night Merkel promised to listen to the “concerns and anxieties” of AfD voters in order to win back their votes.
Some 3,000 anti-racists protested outside the AfD’s election party in Alexander Platz in Berlin. Chants of “Racism is not an alternative," “AfD is a bunch of racists," and "Nazis out!” rang out in the square.
Security guards were forced to move AfD supporters from the balcony of the building after protesters hurled objects at them. Police secured the area, but people kept streaming into the square.
Lisa, one of the protesters, spoke to the Deutsche Welle newspaper. "Especially in times like these, I think it is really important that we speak up against racism and xenophobia and the AfD’s right wing ideology,” she said.
And the press in Israel recognizes the German far right as a resurgence of Nazi ideals:

"To many Germans, parallels to the rise of the Nazi party were clear, right down to the AfD’s celebratory vow to “take back the country and the people”.
Party leaders have said that Germany should be “proud” of its war veterans, and have questioned the idea that Germany should admit and bear guilt for the Holocaust.
"For the first time since the end of the second World War, real Nazis will sit in the German parliament,” said German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel.

10/27/17 edit: I just added this for you, Dutch, to give you another way of looking at this. Not to engage you once again, since the forum does tire of you bringing it up in so many threads. Just consider this an honest effort to give you pause for thought, and let it go. You won't convince me, after all, so why continue. I won't convince you, either, and I will let it go from now on as well:
Try looking at it this way, Dutch. Neo-Nazis, both in Europe and America, self identify as right wing. They embrace Hitler. They do not feel villanized, as you put it in another thread, when they are associated with Hitler. They embrace the association! And they self identify as right wing! Now, you gather together the leaders of the Neo Nazis in Germany, for instance, and you tell them they are making a mistake. They have embraced a socialist party, a socialist leader in Hitler. Do you think their response will be: "My God, we have to change the name of our movement! Even though we self identify as right wing, even though we believe in what Hitler stood for, we have actually duped ourselves!! We have adopted a socialist movement by mistake, because, even though we genuinely admire Hitler as one of our own, he was not anything like us at all, and we have made fools of ourselves!". Now, c'mon Dutch, do you really expect your argument would change their mind one single iota? C'mon. In multiple threads, you have tried to advance your argument and you are getting absolutely nowhere with it. Just believe what you wish, and accept the fact that it is extremely unlikely you will be able to win converts here on this forum to your point of view. Just let it go. Nobody really wants to engage you as you advance this same argument in thread, after thread, after thread.
