almost every single policy, environmental, social, economic was left wing socialist policy brother.

i already listed a few socialist policies!

here you get another one
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Socialist_People's_Welfare check out this one
LOLZ

how much socialist policies must a person enact before you consider him a socialist!

Hitler was a socialist until the day he died.

tell me how many socialist policies do you need before i can call him a socialist. i alreayd listed 11 socialist policies. you cannot name 11 right wing polices the nazi's enacted. but i can name a whole lot more left wing social policies!

please define a socialist! so i can show you Hitler is a socialist!

Sorry for this sidebar, that is off topic, but on too many occasions Dutch has promoted his misguided effort to equate the Left with Nazism. This Snopes article does an excellent job of describing how this BS developed in the first place, both from the term National Socialism, and from Hitler's own words at times. However, there is simply no equating Nazism with socialism as we know it, and to label Hitler a leftist is truly absurd. Beyond the fact that Hitler outlawed socialists in Germany and ordered their extermination, there is a fuller body of evidence disproving this asinine claim:

http://www.snopes.com/2017/09/05/were-nazis-socialists/
i finally read that drivel!
why is snopes omitting the numerous socialist left wing economic, social, environmental policies!
they just spout some ******** with no sources!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Socialist_People's_Welfare how do they debunk this? how do they debunk all socialist policies the nazis implementeD?

please help me see the light!

if i am wrong it would be easy to counter my arguments!
arguments:
1.someone who calls himself a socialist might not be a socialist.
2.someone who writes socialist drivel might not be a socialist
3.but someone who enacts almost exclusively socialist policies, is a socialist right?

or is a socialist just as mythical as the utopia they strive for!

if you tell me i only gave 11 left wing socialist nazi policies and to be considered a socialist you need 12. i will give you 1 more!

The reaction to the success of the far right party in the German elections demonstrates that the German people understand their own history, their own culture, their own politics and the history of their political parties far better then so-called historical revisionists from outside Germany who want to promote the ludicrous idea that Hitler and the Nazis were Leftists. Who knows that history and politics better then the German people themselves? It is quite obvious the German people understand the Nazis and Hitler were on the far right of the political spectrum. Who knows better? The German people or somebody desperate to turn Hitler into a Leftist?

http://www.newsweek.com/nazis-out-germans-protest-far-right-afd-historic-third-place-result-670215

"The results provoked protests across Berlin and other German cities, with groups of people chanting "Nazis out!" "Racism is not an alternative," and "AfD is a bunch of racists," German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle reported."

Even Socialist media organs recognized the far right party in Germany is the philosophical heir to the Nazis:

https://socialistworker.co.uk/art/4...ight,+but+thousands+protest+against+AfD+gains

The AfD also pulls the mainstream parties to the right. Last night Merkel promised to listen to the “concerns and anxieties” of AfD voters in order to win back their votes.

Some 3,000 anti-racists protested outside the AfD’s election party in Alexander Platz in Berlin. Chants of “Racism is not an alternative," “AfD is a bunch of racists," and "Nazis out!” rang out in the square.

Security guards were forced to move AfD supporters from the balcony of the building after protesters hurled objects at them. Police secured the area, but people kept streaming into the square.

Lisa, one of the protesters, spoke to the Deutsche Welle newspaper. "Especially in times like these, I think it is really important that we speak up against racism and xenophobia and the AfD’s right wing ideology,” she said.

And the press in Israel recognizes the German far right as a resurgence of Nazi ideals:

https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/...ng-far-right-party-great-warning-sign-jews/#/

"To many Germans, parallels to the rise of the Nazi party were clear, right down to the AfD’s celebratory vow to “take back the country and the people”.

Party leaders have said that Germany should be “proud” of its war veterans, and have questioned the idea that Germany should admit and bear guilt for the Holocaust.

"For the first time since the end of the second World War, real Nazis will sit in the German parliament,” said German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel.

10/27/17 edit: I just added this for you, Dutch, to give you another way of looking at this. Not to engage you once again, since the forum does tire of you bringing it up in so many threads. Just consider this an honest effort to give you pause for thought, and let it go. You won't convince me, after all, so why continue. I won't convince you, either, and I will let it go from now on as well:

Try looking at it this way, Dutch. Neo-Nazis, both in Europe and America, self identify as right wing. They embrace Hitler. They do not feel villanized, as you put it in another thread, when they are associated with Hitler. They embrace the association! And they self identify as right wing! Now, you gather together the leaders of the Neo Nazis in Germany, for instance, and you tell them they are making a mistake. They have embraced a socialist party, a socialist leader in Hitler. Do you think their response will be: "My God, we have to change the name of our movement! Even though we self identify as right wing, even though we believe in what Hitler stood for, we have actually duped ourselves!! We have adopted a socialist movement by mistake, because, even though we genuinely admire Hitler as one of our own, he was not anything like us at all, and we have made fools of ourselves!". Now, c'mon Dutch, do you really expect your argument would change their mind one single iota? C'mon. In multiple threads, you have tried to advance your argument and you are getting absolutely nowhere with it. Just believe what you wish, and accept the fact that it is extremely unlikely you will be able to win converts here on this forum to your point of view. Just let it go. Nobody really wants to engage you as you advance this same argument in thread, after thread, after thread.

tell me how many socialist policies must one enact to be considered a socialist

how many socialist laws and regulation must one pass to be considered a socialisT?

Socialists can be led by authoritarian demagogues, just like any other form of government/economic system.

Saying Hitler was a leftist, regardless of what he was, doesn't take anything away from the similarities in personality and style between him and Trump.

At this point, red, as much as I like you, this trainwreck of a thread is on you.

Yeah, I know. It would have been better to simply understand nobody buys his claim that Hitler was a socialist anyway, rather then give him a platform for his bile. At least the more appropriate thread dealing with the actual subject is in the GD area where it actually belonged. But, you're absolutely right, this one's on me for sure.

History does not repeat itself literally, but similar circumstances, such as existed in post WWI Germany and present day America, and societies going through cultural and social change, can create large segments of both frightened and disaffected people, leading to similar leadership attuned to how to take advantage of that fear and disaffection. Sadly, the degree to which Trump has been able to turn the NFL demonstrations into a venue for citizens to attack other citizens as unpatriotic, shows how very easy it is for a demagogue to manipulate people's minds and emotions. And that's really the most concerning thing, namely how amazingly easy it is to manipulate people's emotions without them realizing that is what their "leader" is actually doing to them. Like watching fans burn NFL uniforms, oblivious to the fact the demonstrations really had nothing to do with disrespecting flags or anthems.

Aren't you socialist? You believe in public roads and taxes for some things. You like to pretend that people and parties fall into neat convienent labels but they don't. Like your labels for people here or the US parties.

Looks like Dutch and Red wandered outta GD. Can we start a thread where those two argue back and forth and the rest of us don't have to deal with it? I know I should just use the ignore function, but that feels like a slippery slope to creating my own echo chamber.

no i am a capitalist. i believe in paying for the things I use! and i believe you should pay for the things you use. and i shoudl voluntary donate my money to the less fortunate! something socialist do not believe

90% of hitler and nazi policies where socialist. he and his party got a track record 1933-1945 of almost exclusively socialist policies!

that makes him a socialist!

Yep, you still believe in socialist ideas. You dont believe in fully capitalism based on what you say.

As far as your weird and silly argument trying to label Hitler a socialist or something else I dont really give a **** about that nor is he comparable to current people or political parties.

I think it's more of a "We'll wait 4 years and let him dig a hole so deep he can't climb out"
Would Trump being denied another attempt at presidency be the first instance that a party doesn't give a reigning president a 2nd election?
Enlighten me

I guess you wanting lying Hillary for your president. LOL

I agree, only politicians should talk about politics, while sports stars, actresses, and reality TV stars should stick to what they know.

Therefore, Donald Trump should shut the **** up and resign from POTUS. He is not a politician, but a reality TV star.

It's amazing to me that dimwits actually make this argument after they voted a reality star into the Whitehouse.

Oh my another liberal loving Hillary supporter. LOL

Oh, and while we are at it, all these dotards on the right want to gather their guns and join Ammon Bundy in an act of domestic terrorism in order to protest the federal government, but if an athlete wants to take a knee peacefully to protest the federal government, IT'S AN OUTRAGE!

****ing dumbasses.

dumbass...is what you see in the mirror every day chump.
