If Rodney Hood and the Jazz medical team don't know to hydrate after diarrhea I don't know what to think about that.

Thats a players responsibility imo and shows a lack of preparation on Hoods behalf if hydration was a factor. Training staff cant be expected to bottle feed players

yea cant really go around going, hey hood now did little hoodie get his h20? did ya?
guys a damn adult. He should know better.
h20? It's H2O.
Do we really think a top medical staff in the league doesnt know hydration? Pls stop listening to yamers. He just says the most negative thing possible.
At least while he's sitting out he's not getting injured.
I wonder if it might have been a calf strain in conjunction with a cramp. That would explain why he couldnt walk.
Could be. When it happens to me, it hurts like hell. I actually drink a bottle or two of Gatorade every day, which helps with the potassium - water alone doesn't resolve my problem. I can only hobble right after the calf relaxes. And it's pretty sore for a couple of days after. And that's just me as a non-athlete. I'm sure if it's the strain/cramp, it would take an athlete at least 1 week before he was recovered enough to play.
My advice to Rodney:
1. Take 2 Imodium at lunch and dinner on game days as a preventative measure.
2. Drink lots of Gatorade
