Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Real Madrid just won their Euroleague game against Olimpia Milan, 101-90. Doncic's statline: 27 points (7/14 FG, 2/5 3-PT, 11/12 FT), 8 REB, 5 AST, 3 ST, 1 TO in 27 minutes. Not too shabby.

Two days ago he posted 18-6-5 on 6/9 from the field (2/3 from 3-pt land) and 4/4 from the FT line, in 21 minutes. He also went 2 for 2 dribbling between the legs of a rival to get out of Unicaja's pressure.

Still 18yo and he's leading an European powerhouse night in and night out.

Edit: NCJazz beat me to it.

I'd love to get Justin Jackson and play him at the 3, but I think we need someone a bit bigger and more explosive at the 4.

Miles Bridges isn't actually very long. I think his wing-span is pretty average. He's really athletic though.

6'7" with a 7' wing span is not average. He actually has some decent measurements

#1 pick in my opinion at this point. My only Concern is what is his ceiling? Is he going to get better or are we seeing a finished product?

Love these posts. Thanks for the update. What he is doing at 18 is crazy.

I'm not a believer in Issac Bonga yet. He's still figuring out how his body works.

Not sure there's really a Giannis in this draft.

DraftExpress listed Miles Bridges' wingspan at 6'8.5" per Team USA.

Bonga is getting playing time, early in the season his production looks like he's improving in the areas where he's perceived to be weak at and I doubt he'll declare for the '18 draft.

This year, the Jazz could go all out, battle and earn the 5th or 6th seed in the west. Maybe they win 2 - 4 playoff games.

Or, they can cruise, develop their young players, trade Favors and position themselves to draft one or two more young studs in this next draft.

Personally, I'm fine with option 2. The Jazz will still probably get the 7th or 8th seed.

You can draft a "stud" at any position in the draft.
