I'm really high on Porter Jr.'s overall skill level and think he could do well in Europe. Ayton is young, but he's got the potential to be a dominant player.
Would anyone here trade Gobert and something else for the #1 pick and a bad contract so we could get Doncic?

Idk. We already know we can build a championship caliber defense around Gobert. If Mitchell turns out to be a guy we can build an offense around--and he really might be--then I would stand pat with Rudy.Would anyone here trade Gobert and something else for the #1 pick and a bad contract so we could get Doncic?
Best case scenario is we get Doncic/Porter/Bagley without giving up Rudy or Mitchell. The league's worst offense could make it happen.I think it's a lot easier to get something that resembles Gobert (i.e., Adams) than it is Doncic or what we think he could be.
I'm not saying we should do it or that teams would even consider it, but it was something I thought about.
A lot can surpass him, season is young, let's see how Doncic looks in May/June when GMs have to make decisions.
I was rather thinking about the potential of the bigs. As a big if you dominate 2 facets of the game you're nearly always outperforming a max salary. If you're awesome in 3 or 4 ways that's so hard to measure, the terror you inflict when you're 7 foot tall, stifle opponents at the rim, are capable with the back to the basket, hit outside jump shots and even make plays off the dribble. It's so huge(and rare). That's why I thought more alongside some big making a huge jump.
Finding a player comp for Doncic is really hard, but how about 6'8 James Harden is his upside. There're not many players like Harden who think one step ahead when it comes to generating shots, not only dimes. I think Doncic will be capable of that.
No, literally only Bagley can pass him.
I tried to stay away and focus on school but damn I love this stuff.
I think these player could challenge Doncic for #1 by the end of the season
Porter - best offensive player in this draft. He can do some of everything and is so fluid for a 6'10" player. Maybe the best since Durant.
Bagley - because players like him are so few and far between is sad. He is one of the best bigs to come out in a long time. He has the potential to be a franchise pf.
Ayton - is the long shot but he is what Greg Oden was suppose to be with out the injuries.
I think pre injury Brandon Roy is who Doncic reminds me of.
I am sure Cy will find something I said to complain about.

Next year's draft is gonna be loaded at the top with quality bigs, you heard it here first.
So replying to a question that was asked is bad if it has been said before? Just to make sure.Nothing to complain about other than this post has basically been recycled a billion times for the last 4 months.
I'm just saying its bad because its nothing new. Every preseason take possible has been made on the guys. Just not interested in peoples evaluations on AAU game highlights anymore now that the season is upon us.So replying to a question that was asked is bad if it has been said before? Just to make sure.
