Jazz 2017/18 Playoff Bus! All Aboard!

Jazz are 2-9 in their last 11 games. But the two wins are against the Spurs and Boston.

The trade deadline is fast approaching. I can't say what this team will do. But it sure is fun to wonder and watch Spider Mitchell.

Rudy and Donovan are safe.

Hood and Exum probably are as well. Everybody else should be on the table depending on what comes back. Jazz shouldn’t do any bad trades just to do something, but should be looking to add assets to build around Mitchell and Gobert. It’s a damn shame that they traded for Rubio. Not only would he NOT be sucking for the Jazz right now, but they’d have that pick from OKC in their arsenal as well. Too bad.

I’d love to see a big, bold move from the Jazz. . . but I’m not sure they’re to that stage of the rebuild yet.

i would look to unload ingles asap.

He should hold some value right?
Just out of curiosity, but why move Ingles?

I get the idea that Favors might get traded to get something back before he leaves.

Hood and Exum might get an offer that you don’t want to match.

Rubio and Burks might not be in the long term plans and you might want to allocate their money elsewhere.

Joe Jesus is on an expiring contract that could help a team manage their books for next year.

Neto, Jerebko, Sefalosha and Udoh are all on value deals that might be worth something to someone.

Joe Ingles clearly seems to be in the long term plans (based on his contract) and can fit in just about anywhere he’s needed (starter, bench, guard, wing, point, forward, defense, etc.) Worst case scenario, he’s the team’s glue guy for the bench and locker room. I don’t think you move Jingles for a couple of years (if at all.)

Looks like this sucker is back in the ditch. Maybe we need a new bus driver?

The weird thing is that a bunch of tankers have been winning games lately, to the point Utah could still make a decent tank. Last time I mentioned anything like this, Utah started beating teams by 40. You hear that Jazz?! You guys are the suck!

Ingles is just slow and lethargic on offense to be a starter in this league. Ingles coming off the bench would be awesome, but he's just not a starting caliber player, same as rubio.

Love Ingles but it's the truth.

You can pound sand. This is my bus.

/Gasp December's been tough? None of us saw that coming...

Sefalosha has some trade value. Decent player, great contract.

Same with Jerebko and Udoh. Jazz have several tradable contracts depending on what the other team is looking for. Burks, Neto, Exum, Hood... they all have some value in different scenarios.

There is no reason other than age, but that might be reason enough. Ingles is now on the wrong side of 30. Our core players, Rudy and DM, are 25 and 21.
By Ingles 3rd year, he'll be 32 and in decline, with little to no trade value.

That’s a better reason than any others that have been offered. I just think it’s a mistake to trade guys who actually WANT to be here and sacrifice to do so. Those guys are your greatest recruiting tools.

Had 7 AST last night. His FGA and his shooting % are down. REB normal. He's had only two PF in the last three games. And 0 steals in 8 out of 9 games. Maybe he's sick.

I'm a big Ingles fan. Guy competes and I love his grit and head games. I want him on the Jazz for many seasons to come. But the SF position is a primary position I'd look at upgrading. Move Ingles to the bench.

I think he is better guarding 2s, but don't sleep on this guy. He does a ton that doesn't show up in the boxscore... as far as winning players he's one of the best we have. His contract descends so by the end he won't be as overpaid as you might think. I think he ages well, because he does not rely on athleticism basically at all. He's an amazing glue guy on and off the court. Put a more dynamic wing next to him and move DM to the point and he's great.

Joe is being asked to do a little too much sometimes. Having more shooting on the floor would help him a bunch... I'm noticing less and less space for him on his shots.

One more note on Ingles... in two years he makes a little under 12M and final year of his deal is under 11M... cap will be roughly 108-110M at that point... Ingles at 10-11% of your cap won't hurt us.

His biggest assets are his brain and long arms. He needs to maintain a certain level of athleticism but if he slows down a bit I don't see him being much worse than his current level of play. Maybe reduce his minutes a bit.

Ingles may be the most underrated player in the NBA, even his own teams fans want to trade him for some reason.

Eh, he gets paid pretty well, starts, and doesn’t put up great numbers. Most underrated player in the nba is pretty hyperbolic imo.

Great way to close out this year and this brutal December.

Great night for the Jazz. They get the big win and New Orleans, Denver and Portland lose.

After that awful month we are only 3.5 games back from the 6 seed and 2 1/2 games out of the playoffs with a head to head coming up next game between NO.

Between finishing the hardest schedule of any team for any month this year and having so many players miss games we are looking like we have a decent to good shot at making the playoffs. Hopefully we get higher than an 8 seed.
