Any chance Vesley could slip to #12? I'd be stoked with Kanter and Vesely, the Dunking Ninja or whatever his name is. That **** would excite me like crazy. Biyombo, Singleton or Burks would excite me at #12 too.
Why would he bother to check out Kanter in a few days, then?
Please draft williams. If we draft Kanter please get a good trade for one of our bigs to pick up a sg or sf.

Could Harris net us the 5th, 6th, or 7th pick. My dream draft would be draft Kanter or williams 3, trade Harris for 5, 6, or 7 and draft knight or walker. With the 12th pick take Donatas if we draft Williams, if we take Kanter draft ether Thompson Singleton or Hamilton.

No. Maybe Harris and our 12+.
So the only way we get one of 5,6 or 7 is Millsap. Would love the Harris trade, but a guy can dream.
My point is to get a big point and wing
You're not getting 5,6,or 7 straight up for Millsap.
K? My point is you're not getting a top 10 pick for either of those player without at least giving up the #12 along with them.
Can someone explain Brandon Knight to me?
I realize that there is more to a player than his stats, but Knight's stats leave me wondering what that "more" is:
FG% .423
3PT% .377
AST 4.2
TO 3.2
I haven't seen him play, so enlighten me, please.
Seriously? Let's see...here are Knight's and Irving's stats:
17 pts, 4 rebs, 4 assists, 3.2 to, 1.33 as/to, 0.7 stl, 42% fg, 37% 3pt, 80% ft, 1.28 pps
17 pts, 3 rebs, 4 assists, 2.5 to, 1.74 as/to, 1.5 stl, 53% fg, 46% 3pt, 90% ft, 1.85 pps
Hmmm....Irving played 11 games, most against weak competition. Knight played the whole season, with a bunch of freshmen (not including losing potentially their best player before the season), led his team to the final four (how far did Duke go, with far more experience?), is a year younger, is bigger, etc, etc, etc. Now, I don't know who will be better between the two, but as far as potential goes, they are neck and neck. As far as experience goes, Knight is ahead.
You may like Irving, but to say Knight is nowhere near the level Irving is is just stupid. You have 11 games of Irving, including powerhouses such as Princeton, Miami (Ohio), Colgate, Bradley, St Louis, Elon. Knight did the SAME stats against a full ACC schedule, and taking a team to the final four.
p.s. Some claim that Irving's shooting percentages show he is a better player, and that Knight's turnovers late in the season show that he isn't as good. I wonder what would have happened to Irving had he played the teams Knight was playing against during that stretch? I wonder if his turnover's would have increased? I wonder if he could have kept up that high shooting %'s.
Again, you can like Irving better than Knight, that is fine, but you cannot say Knight isn't very, very close to the player Irving is. Unless you have been sitting in on the personal workouts and have seen something huge glaring weakness between the two. And if you have, I am jealous of you.
I think Irving is a better shooter. I will say that given a full season, his percentages probably would be a bit lower. He ranks higher than Knight because he is more of a pure point guard whereas Knight is more of a combo guard who is improving at the PG.
I have this feeling too. KOC has shown how much he values PG's in the past, so it makes sense. I think he will workout others out to see if anyone "wows" him.
I don't argue with what you say, the poster I quoted wanted to know why Knight is rated so high. You may like Irving over Knight or visa versa. I just don't believe there is a big difference between the two. Throw in Callipari's success with NBA guards, and the fact the Utah has a starting pg, and could use a guy to backup Harris now, take over later, and play a little sg at the same time, Knight could be an amazing guard for Utah.
That being said, take the BPA. It's up to KOC to find that person.
He didn't ask for a comparison. Give it a rest. You're on an island with this opinion for a very good reason.Seriously? Let's see...here are Knight's and Irving's stats:
