*Breaking News* Kawhi Wants Out

Does Kawhi have a no trade clause to leverage where he goes?
He does not have a no trade clause. But he does have a player option next year and the ability to sign an extension with wherever he goes. Not many teams will trade for him if he says he does not want to go there and wont sign an extension. I think he will pick where he goes or at least give the Spurs a short list and that is where he will go.

Between this and Bron, what are the chances Hayward plays a grand total of 5 mins as a Celtic?

Odds are increasing by the day.

it would be absolutely hilarious if ainge packs hayward to SA for Leonard, but like i said before brad stevens and hayward have a relationship(like really deep) and nothing is wrong with that, but packing stevens lover out would cause stevens to quit.

Boston and LA have to be the front runners as they have some of the best assets

If i was the spurs I would want Kuzma and Ingram or Brown and Tatum. (of course money fillers to make it happen) Draft pick probably too

If i was the spurs i'd straight up sit his *** for the whole year. I'd keep his *** on the sideline until somebody offers me something worthwhile and if nobody does...then he loses 2yrs of ball, granted he's "stealing" money, but I think it would be a legit route.

Haha I doubt a dude quits that job over a fringe all-star, regardless of how close.

Furthermore, Ainge gives zero ****’s.

And I know people will laugh at Hayward if he gets traded, but he will still be going to an amazing situation. Spurs going to be a 50 win team next year if they get Hayward and pieces back for Kawhi.

Yeah but post Pop (which sounds like it’s very close) is a mystery.

I would laugh harder if he broke his other foot. But being traded to a small market after his dramatic exit would be pretty funny as well.

Yeah, but as long as the new core post-Leonard gets a year or two of Pop they should be fine. They have a long line of quality assistants ready to step up too.

The Spurs should be able to get a good enough package for Leonard to be a playoff team for the next 10 years.

I still think a lot of teams will offer trades for him whether he agrees to sign the extension or not with the idea that they can convince him to stay. Just like OKC tried to do with Paul George.

This isn't too far fetched, right?

-2018/19 Celtics:
-Scary Terry, Smart, Brown, Tatum, Bron, Kawhi, Horford etc

With Cleveland getting Hayward and filler and San Antonio getting Kyrie and picks.

Spitballing here!
