Why wouldn’t we have tried harder to re-sign Hill in the offseason then if it was to make Hayward happy?

Even if I for a second believed the front office would even do that — what happens when Mitchell wants to keep Rubio around?

As am I, there is not one thing that makes you athletic or not in the NBA. There is no set standard for when someone is or isnt athletic in the NBA. This is the field I work in and try and predict and develop athleticism in athletes to help them succeed. Any high level athlete has abilities that make them athletic, that is what makes them succeed in my opinion.

Oh, now you edited it for this. You implied I was using the general public as reference so that is why I corrected you. So obviously its not a no **** sherlock because you did not understand that, NBD.

Hill is on nearly $20m contract currently and I don't think he's worth that right now.

You said you'd never said anything about him making an All Star team, but you did.

Are you going to refuse that you lied about that?

Nothing you have rattled of means anything when talking athleticism in the NBA.

Again:

If you can jump high but are slow as ****, you aren't athletic.

If you can run fast but cant jump, you aren't athletic.

I said if he made the all-star. I dont think he will and have been very consistent about that.

Sorry but you reading skills really suck and/or you are really obtuse. You are trying to make something up out of no where.

But again you are still cant just make a simple prediction about how much you think he will get.
 
So Atlanta, Chicago and Sacramento have space with the RFAs still available. Feels like one should pony up for Capela and make the Rockets sweat... otherwise I think they get him at a bargain deal.

Could also see Sacramento looking at Lavine (just seems like a match because it would be awful) and Dante. None of them are likely going for Smart doe... Unless he take MLE (which he should) I think Boston gets him on the qualifying offer. Lucky bastards.

So you think only people who can jump high and run fast are athletic? What about rate of force development with jumping. That is a lot better predictor of being good in the NBA and makes you more athletic in the NBA than how high you can jump. Is strong not a factor to you?

Thats the point, athletic is a general term. Its not a yes or no for players. Its a huge range of spectrum on many different things. At some point people make a general assumption of athletic or not on players but its arbitrary and not backed by somethings real.

No you said you only said 'if he plays at an All Star level' and never said anything about making the 'all star team' and questioned my reading comprehension.

Then I was able to find a quote where you specifically said 'if he makes the All Star team'.

You can deny it all you want but truth is truth.

I think the Jazz system made Hill better than he really was. There's no denying his career year here. But look at other players who benefited as well? Players like Ingles, Royce, and even Favors to a certain extent are good players in our systems because Quin tweaks it to hide certain weaknesses while taking advantage of their strengths. Rubio is likely a product as well, but there's no denying when he's gunning, we're winning. Let's say Rubio somehow averages 18, 6, and 3, on 40+ 3p% with a steal and change, what's he worth then? He's effective and a good lockerroom guys (like the rest of our team). If we're better than last year? I'd probably pay it.

Saying if he makes the all star game does not mean I am predicting he will. That seems pretty easy to understand when the sentence before that I said what my prediction was for him and his pay. You can keep saying this over and over but it makes you look dumber and dumber not to be able to understand it.

If you cant make a prediction about it its pretty bad to make fun of someone elses. Even when you dont understand what their is.

But we do agree on something, truth is truth. Like the truth that you dont understand a certain words. What is your native language? Maybe I can use google translate and help you understand what If means.

Guess what guys - in a bit, I'm going to have a trade idea thread up. On that should make everybody happy. If not, then take all your frustration out on me.
