Donald Fires FBI Director who's investigating Russian Election Hacking

Why don't do go back and reread my first response to you, and let me know how this makes any sense.

You know, you're generally one of my favorite posters on this site, but you're coming across really poorly right now.

I don't really want him riled up again. I understand how easy it can be to get caught up bitching about someone or something. I also understand trying to stand up for reason, and I'm certain he believes we're just piling it on.

Let him keep being one of your favorites. He's really not bad, just caught up in something he doesn't understand. And it's very clear he began to understand there at the end, hence the switching gears from "fite me bout numberz" to "u just a gang mentilitay".

It's cool. No hard feelings.

No doubt man. Honestly my responses in this thread were more about telling a poster I respect that he's being a dick than trying to, like, defend your honor or anything haha. Siro's good people.

Right? cuz I've got honor in spades.

What sanctimonious jabbering. That gets liked and defended by the best Jazzfanz has to offer! No wonder Siro felt the need to take a break.

Siro does the passive/aggressive thing. Sometimes it bites him in the ***.

Siro could be aggressive and did not suffer fools. He spoke his mind in a straight forward manner. Pretty much the opposite of passive-aggressive.

Siro starts ****. He attacks people. There are a few people here who attack personally out of the blue just to be assholes. You probably know who. I used to like Siro and I liked a lot of his posts. Then he attacked me in a personal and ****** manner for no apparent reason. No big, I can handle it. But now I have no reason not to call him out when he's a dick to others.

Here's Siro just in the last few pages of this thread:

"He doesn't have the time to dazzle us with his deep statistical understanding."

"Would you rather have a rational understanding of the situation based on the best available evidence? Or do you want to just celebrate an empty number?"

"You seem to be getting upset. Sorry to rain on your parade. 36%! Woooooooooooooo!"

"And that's weak minded and down right stupid. If you want to discuss why you think a statistical outlier is meaningful in rational scientific terms, I'm game. If you want to persist with the uneducated "you do you" mentality, that's fine too. Your opinion doesn't really matter to me. I was trying to help. If you don't want my help, please do carry on with your circle jerk."

"Anyways, you're making liberals look stupid and uneducated. Please stop."

"That's the nice thing about the modern world, it's more difficult to lie when we have records of everything. But no carry on with that stuff about outliers with quantifiable numerical data or whatever mindnumbing nonsense you were saying."

"No wonder Trump is president given the level of discourse by the average person. RIP human intellect."

I don't get these polls. Last week, his approval was at 46%. Are people really that fickle?
It's a sample, not necessarily representative of the population, and as a sample subject to generating different data with subsequent samples.

The only poll the Drudge Report ever links to is Rasmussen, and they always have the highest approval ratings for Trump. But, that's Drudge's bias, and I assume Rasmussen is an outlier. So my bias is to disregard Rasmussen polling when it involves Trump.

Yeah... cuz I couldn't possibly be genuinely trying not to be a problem once in a while.

Correct.

The Rasmussen poll is the most commonly cited poll by trump. It typically has his approval in the mid to high 40s (the majority still disapprove).

While most far more reputable polls have his rating in the upper 30s low 40s. And that really hasn’t changed in nearly 2 years. His floor seems to be mid 30s while his ceiling is mid 40s.

This means that the majority disapprove while the 30-35 percent of his base will approve of him no matter what.

What has been creeping up is the “strongly disapprove.” It seems that the ranks of those who not only disapprove but strongly disapprove have been increasing. This matters since these are the people who will most likely vote against him and his followers. Trump is energizing the resistance rather than work to win them over.

These people are scattered throughout the country. This matters because all politics is local politics. Trump is ruining the republican brand and giving democrats a realistic shot to take control of local and national governments in the crucial years that the census is made. By 2020 you could see democrats in control of the house, senate, and many state legislatures and governor mansions.

For those of you seeking confirmation of this, look at the special elections. Democrats are +18 percentage pts in these. Look at how Beto O’Rouke is turning Texas blue.

@LogGrad98 when Beto beats Cruz and democrats retake the House, will you and your side admit that trump is toxic? Maybe we should have dozens and dozens of stories on “left behind” voters. You know, people who traditionally voted red but were turned off by Trumpism and have now become democrats. You like to bring up how democrats need to be sympathetic to trumpers and be more aware on how he won. I think your side needs to be more aware of the majority of voters, people who didn’t vote for trump. We’re a growing majority, not a shrinking minority. If the GOP hopes to avoid a political train wreck in the next few years, you’ll need to dump trump and reconnect with voters that the democrats are stealing away.

It’s time for your ilk to understand us.

Not really related but here in Utah Prop 2 being on the ballot is going to bring out a lot of people who don't normally vote in Utah because they figure their vote doesn't matter. Since the state is no longer more than 50% LDS getting all these people out might be a huge wake-up call and might show all us disenfranchised Utah voters that we now have the ability to shape policy. Letting Prop 2 happen instead of passing some form of medical MJ in the legislature might cause a seismic shift in Utah politics that no one saw coming.

You're not wrong.

Trump might be a net positive for democrats, thinking republicans (so racists and tea baggers can see themselves out), and those who care about democracy.

The more extreme and offensive he becomes to rally his base, the more incentive he gives the rest of us to mobilize and fight back.

If 2018 and 2020 sees more people involved in politics, voting impediments established by republicans after 2008 torn down, and more people seeking truth rather than just riding off whatever Fox News or some loudmouth on twitter/inforwars says, then this will be a positive thing.

For too long Americans have been disengaged politically. For too long republicans have worked to suppress the vote. For too long thinking republicans have been drowned out by racists, tea baggers, and other deplorables. And for too long racial inequalities and attitudes have remained unaddressed.

I think trump helps motivate us a lot to work out these issues.

The more people get informed and vote, the better America we get. Likewise, in utah, for too long people have just let the church be their voice politically. That needs to end. And it’ll be good for both sides honestly. The church has no business influencing utah politics the way it does.

Please explain what my "ilk" is? You are the most heavily indoctrinated and biased person I have ever encountered. Your post has been reported for trolling. You have zero reason to bring me into your delusion besides trolling. I haven't engaged with you in weeks if not months. Please stop polluting the minds of our youth with your uninformed biased vitriol. I beg you to get a new profession where you will do less damage. As a rapist maybe. Seriously **** off.
