On the general forum or the Jazz forum? There is a discussion on RealGM on whether Joe Ingles is a top 30 player.
Fringe All Star this year but rising. I think a lot of teams are going to guard DM like Houston did putting Ariza on him. That really slowed him down. Also I don't think he's going to be All defense or 2nd team defense as well ...not guarding 2 guards ,he's tooo small.
He probably is more suited at PG (sizewise) but if Exum(healthy) takes off this year (ideal) then Jazz might have themselves a double headed PG tandem.
Rubio comes out like his 2nd half play of the last 2 seasons at the beginning of the season Jazz will be lethal where all 3 (DM,Exum,Rubio) bring out the best of each other. All 3 lethal at PG but playing position less BB. Fingers xed.
Considering he was already borderline all-star level as a rookie, we can safely assume that clear cut all star is his floor.
This is one of the reply's of the yearI love when people say stuff like this. It equates to -- "he's basically like a hall of famer, but better"
We all fell in love with Donovan very quickly. I think a lot of it was you could tell how hard he worked, and part of it is we’re homers, you could see it a little in summer league, and we all kind of just loved the dude and wanted to see him be amazing. He has been, he will be, and we are extremely blessed to have such an influential guy on the court and off in our community.
I don't care if some of it is calculated media savvy, it can't all be that. He is easily the most likable Jazz player ever in terms of how talented he is. Like it's not really a contest. Maybe Hornacek, but I'll be stunned if Mitchell doesn't have a much better career than Hornacek did (and his career wasn't shabby). His personality (kindness) and community involvement probably won me over even more than his game tbh. I love to root for nice, good, guys.

Which is why I'll be furious if the Jazz don't park a Brinks truck to his door step the first opportunity they get.

What are the odds you'd post right after a one brow comment? Did you call his work and ask him what threads he'd been posting in lately or something?Wow, never saw this thread when it came out. Guess because it was summer I wasn't going to the board much -- no wonder people complained when I said few people were that high on him.
For the first part, yeah. Calculated? Probably some, but he wouldn’t have to pour it on like he has to accomplish what the goal is. Everyone’s has been in love with the dude for a while now. He really doesn’t have to do half of the things he’s done here in this community that he’s went out of his way to do to get that Brinks truck, or get love from fans here. His play and just general work ethic would suffice. Some of the things he’s done have been good PR and some of the things he’s done, he’s done willingly.I don't care if some of it is calculated media savvy, it can't all be that.
