Suspicious packages sent to Obama, Clinton, and CNN Offices

I like how it says "The political Left has been known to orchestrate frame-up attacks designed to make it appear that right-leaning opponents are responsible for violent acts and plots." and then provides zero attacks orchestrated by the political Left:

But yeah, Obama sent the bombs. I'll go with that

........
You completely missed the point of the article. Try reading the second paragraph carefully. He clearly says that making that claim (the one you quoted) would be irresponsible.

The only one responsible for the bomb is the one who mailed it, the sign the lady is holding, represents her and her alone (unless someone else helped make it.) No side has a monopoly on political violence in the US. Get this brainwashed idea out of your head. There are loonies on all political sides. The mentally ill, the paranoid and the fear mongering sheeple.

I hope they find the person responsible for the bombs and they are brought to justice. I feel the same way about as I do about the Utah ricin guy you guys brushed under the rug and we have the same amount of information about them. They both sent mail with harmful intentions to members of a political party within the span of a few weeks. **** them both. Screw the fake bomb lady. Screw the "what's your point" simpletons.

I've seen this from multiple people and it's making me cringe. It's more than likely the doing of an alt right nut job. I have no doubt they'll be caught soon enough.

The far left radicals have destroyed discussion on this site to the point of being unbearable. If you're still wondering why Siro left, it's you.

Siro left because he felt like he needed to climb up on that cross with Jesus. Over if we should throw one 36 approval out because it didn't fall in the 46-38 range.

Siro left because he worked himself into a shoot over something stupid.

With any luck, he'll be happier in /r/the _Donald. Because that's the rigid, uncompromising direction he was headed.

But there's only one president. I agree the person or persons who mailed these packages, and this morning another was found at an address associated with Robert De Niro, bears the ultimate responsibility. However, all the targets were "enemies" of Trump. Under those circumstances, it's only to be expected that the events would cause people to point out the toxic rhetoric associated with Donald Trump. He is the president. Words matter, and in the United States, whose words would be expected to matter more then the president of the United States?

The events have shone a light on the toxic tone that has been set by, and is the responsibility of, our president. From urging violence on protestors at his rallies during his 2016 election. Punch them out, he will pay your legal fees. Waxing nostalgic over the old days, when such protestors would be carried out of his rallies on a stretcher.

When he became president, at no time did he reach out to those of his fellow Americans that did not vote for him. Instead, he helped to promulgate the fake news meme, where fake news was simply any reporting that did not hold him in the highest regard. He allowed that antipathy to expand until he was willing to say the media was "the enemy of the people". He labeled the opposition party "evil people".

Even at his rally last night in Wisconsin, he laid blame on how the media treated him, and once again raised the false news meme. An adversarial press is something every president endures, and it does not make that media the "enemy of the people". The man lies repeatedly. Daily he lies and lies. The press, in our nation, is allowed to speak truth to power! It is a part of their responsibility! How dare he label them "the enemy of the people"?!

The simple, and IMHO, undeniable fact is that he has set a toxic tone to our political dialog, and has refused to act as a president for all Americans. Seeing how all the targets, yesterday and today, are people and news organizations that he has virtually demonized at his rallies over the past two years, how can we fail to point out the degree to which he is responsible for his toxic tone, his toxic words, his overt effort to demonize any individual, as well as the opposition party?

I am not saying there is any kind of direct connection between Trump and the perpetrator(s), but his words matter more then the words of anybody else, as would be expected. He is the president. Let him assume responsibility for his words and the toxic tone he is setting.

Both sides. Both sides. Both sides. I have yet to hear the both-siders acknowledge these fundamental facts regarding our president.

Trump last night in Wisconsin. Calls on the press to be more civil, enough with the false stories. Translation: stop speaking truth to power.

And he mocked calls for him to tone down his rhetoric, showing just how serious he really regarded these attacks: "I'm trying to be nice. Do you see how nice I'm behaving tonight?"

So he was mocking the whole thing? Classy. I saw people chanting “lock her up” at his rally last night. Good to see them acting civilly considering the day’s events.

It’s pretty obvious who owns the biggest megaphone in the country. Those who try and bring up Maxine Waters or CNN are purposely misleading. Trump is the king of division and vitriol we see in our country today. He owns the loudest and most vile mouth.

Also, it’s interesting to learn the history behind “both sideserism.” Kevin Kruse is a fantastic follow.

Another bomb found. This one is addressed to Robert DeNiro.

And Trump just tweeted this:

It is so obvious that he is demanding that the press cease speaking truth to power. Allow his lies to stand unchallenged. Why, Mr. Trump? Why should our free press allow you off the hook for your constant lying? Why should a free press abdicate its responsibility, simply to allow you free reign with your lies? May it never happen.

Should the left have backed off the Republican hate after that guy shot up the congressional softball game?

Regardless of what any individual on either side does our focus should remain on the ****tard Trump. Bush nailed it when he said he'd be the chaos President.

Should the left have backed off the Republican hate after that guy shot up the congressional softball game?

Which you will follow up on by presenting the multiple times politicians on the left have engaged in, advocated, or applauded violence against the right? Because otherwise, what is there to back off from?
