He does not even attempt 3 pts shots, but he is still dominating, just show you dont understand the game of basketball.

I watched the game - he jacked up a lot of shots very early in the clock, sometimes with no-one else touching the ball. A lot of bad shot selection.
 
I’m really encouraged by the game tonight... weird for a loss but they played really hard.

DM shot a lot... 3 of those were desperation shots... but he had very few terrible shots. He had some variance... not just flinging contested floaters... his pump fake was great. That is a great defense... going at Jimmy and Joel is no joke.

To shoot like *** on open 3 pt shots and free throws and to have a great shot to win the game was good.

Ricky was great tonight... DM was great on defense... Favs was solid again. If one of Crowder or DM are shooting straight from three we win that one easily.
 
Some turning points that hurt us...

The free throw rebound at the end of the third. That hurt.

We get the ball... Ricky tried to draw Joel’s 6th foul ends in a turnover and bucket.

There was a sequence to start the second half... 4 missed free throws and Jae missed a wide *** open 3. Just felt like we got zero points out of that and should have had at least 2-3 pts and could have easily had 6-7.

Loose ball rebound late in fourth... looked like Jae would have it... somehow didn’t come up with it.

Like I can’t believe we are this bad at shooting... make a couple more and it’s lights out.

Fun facts

Mitchell when Exum was on the floor - 7/16 from the floor (one of those was a half court heave at the end of a quarter), so 41.2%

Mitchell when Rubio was on the floor - 6/19 from the floor, 31.6%

Not great either way but it seemed to me like Mitchell was able to find better looks with Exum on the floor since he was on point tonight with his driving game, and defenders were staying home more on Exum because of that while they let Rubio do whatever he wanted at the 3pt line.

Very. He made a lot of plays... didn’t have too many turnovers... had he made a couple more free throws it would have been nice.
