Most were good shots that didn’t go in... either Joel refuses to let Rudy score or the game plan was no lobs... so DM has to shoot in midrange or at the three.

At least 2 of threes were heaves or end of shot clock desperation types. I think it may have been three... not sure they have him credit for one he missed at the end of the third.
 
I also enjoyed the “eff it I’m going hard to the hoop” Exum we got tonight.

One thing that bothered me... AB deserves more time and we had a lineup with like Ricky, Exum, Royce, and Thabo that didn’t seem to make any damn sense. That lineup should just hold the ball until the shot clock expires then give the ball back... like taking a knee... cuz that lineup ain’t scoring.
 
They shot 45%+ from three we shot 18%.

We should have lost by 30.
 
Exum and Favors were playing really well and were a big part of the reason the Jazz were still in this game. Exum should have finished that game Rubio just doesn't have it right now. Frankly I think they should switch roles, Exum is playing better and should be getting more minutes.
 
I might be wrong...but im not gonna worry about 3pt % until defenses stop gaurding jazz on the perimeter and pack 5 bodies in the lane to stop Gobert.

I do worry about ft% and missed layups.

Ricky was good tonight too. Tough to say Exum outplayed Ricky tonight.

Royce has a good plus minus but I thought he was kind of rough. Dumb turnover in transition and two away from the ball fouls in the first when they were in the bonus. Lost Jimmy back door on a play. I think he’s the guy most hurt by the new rule enforcement. I think he’s more effective on 3/4s not 1s and 2s... he’s very handsy.
 
Rudy should have taken a move out of the Embiid book of getting guys thrown out. He had a tech or he likely gets one on the stare down... if Rudy shoves him there it’s double techs and Embiid is gone.

That was the line up that got us back within the first half, and it was the line up that got us in front before bunch of the starters came back and unfortunately couldn't bring it home.

Oh no... not Melo and DM.

He had a few opportunities for drop off passes that he missed. I think most were staying home on shooters. Like the defense doesn’t collapse because they rely on Embiid.
