Sheesh, you know everybody.
Biyombo's standing reach is either 9'3" or 9'4" - the same as dwight Howard, but a few inches less than Valanciunas. BUT Biyombo's athleticism is superior to Valanciunas so it probably evens out. although I'm guessing Bismack is significantly better defensively - and his defense will probably permeate to the rest of the team. He's fun.
The area I like Valanciunas better in is his insane FT%. Love it. Bismack's at what, 50%? But should get better I think. He's not lazy.
I like both guys and hope the Jazz get one of them or maybe Kanter. Don't want a PG with the 3rd pick.
Yeah, I think Biyombo has more ability to be dominate defensively, but Jonas has the ability to be more of a well rounded player who is also great defensively. Pretty hard choice between the two for me.
Most scouts love JV over Kanter for his motor and work ethic. He has been posting incredible numbers at age 18 in euroleague play, the closest league competition wise to the NBA. My concern is will he ever get to 250-260 pounds, the language barrier, and buyout.
Wrong.
while we have Favors, considering to draft Valanciunas is really unnecessary
I disagree. In 2 years Jefferson and Millsap's contracts are up and by then there will be a much more clear picture of whose team this is between them, Favors and Val. JV and Favors could very easily end up the starting front line and if they both live up to their potential this would be a dominant inside defensive duo. In the meantime Jefferson and Millsap are both very good players just coming into their prime. After the end of next season and going into 2012 a decision will have to be made but whoever isn't kept will still be a valuable commodity. Who knows, maybe there is room for everybody if Sap can play the 3.
You don't draft players based on what the team will look like their rookie year.

That he's rated almost as high, even with the buy-out concern signals that he is close. If he could come over this season he might be rated equal or even ahead. Most teams are not going to stash a Euro for a few years. I know, it happened with Rubio. But few GM's have enough job security to tell their owners and fans...we're going to be just as bad next season because I'm selecting a player we won't even see for two more years. Do that and you'll soon be the ex-GM of the team.If most scouts loved him over Kanter, he'd be projected higher than Kanter in the majority of mocks. Get a ****ing clue hack. Hyperbole's this month's go-to move.

Which is the most respected mock? DX? Why?The only reason he's projected lower is due to the buyout situation. He is ahead of Kanter on the most respected mock and has been for the entire year, and every scout Locke interviewed liked him better as well. Basically anyone who has actually seen him play in real life.....which isn't you.
Biyombo has legit center reach. He plays defense and rebounds. He plays like a prototypical center should play, minus any semblence of an offensive game.
