Game 17: Jazz vs Pacers (No-Ladipo) 5:00 MT

rubio was the only bright spot, every1 else was garbage, everybody.
ingles looked drunk
exum was lost
mitchell?? did he even play?
crowder was weak on rebounds
favors and gobert absolute *** today, weak rebounding, weak effort.

anyway pacers defense is legit and they are good, Im happy for them.

Anyway, road trip is brutal, we havent had a good schedule to start the season.

off topic here, but wow hayward is getting torched by the celtics fan base. ouch, I think he looks mentally defeated.

grayson allen is dookie.

he fouls out in 5minutes. Not much from grayson, a dud pick in the draft, it happens.

DL always has a good one then a bad one, so next one should be good.

That all might be true, but his shot is legit and his athleticism on offense is nice. He should be a player when he learns how to play defense, I just hope that can happen.

Grayson will get better, but he isn't our problem.

We need to take Burks and our worthless expirings and do something. We tried to recreate last year and it just isn't happening. We fell to complacency.

Damn. Didn’t realized he moved to the bench tonight. Blows two games to the Jazz and Brad moves him to the bench, then he scores 4 points on 1-6 shooting in 30 minutes and they lose. Tough break.

I mean, he played the 2nd most minutes on the team. It was more like a Ginobili role.

This is too common. Losing to a mediocre team by 20 or more.

What do you mean mediocre? Pacers are going to be fighting for 2-4 seeds in the East. While West is deeper in general, those top 5 East teams easily would make playoffs in the West.

They where missing their best player and let a rookie stomp them.

They are in the East. In the west that team is maybe a 7 or 8 seed. Hence mediocre. Plus they were missing their #1 guy tonight.

I do not agree with that take but whatever. They blew Memphis by 30 as well. I think they would be in the middle pack in the West as well. Only GSW and Toronto are in clear tier 1 for me, rest of East or West teams are tier 2's

Sabonis is Nick Collison 2.0

Great big in college. Not athletic enough for the NBA to be more than a role big.

Just need to bump it after 19pts, 9reb, 9ast game.

Just FYI Thriller so you would not embarrass yourself next time.

According to Basketball Reference, Sabonis is:

10th in Box Plus/Minus (6.1)
9th in PER (25.7)
8th in Defensive Rating (101.5)
7th in Offensive Rating (128.5)
6th in Rebound % (22.4)
3rd in FG% (.678)
2nd in eFG% (.682)
1st in True Shooting % (.713)
1st in Win Shares Per 48 Minutes (.272)

Jazz would be 10X better with him instead of Favors.

The Pacers moved the ball really well. They outhustled us throughout the game and looked like they actually gave a damn about the outcome. This was also the first time I've seen multiple players on the Jazz disgusted with their teammates for poor execution. Hope we can pull out of this quagmire we are currently in, but it gets less and less likely as the season wears on. Perhaps the team has regressed to the mean from last season.

As it sits right now. The Jazz have a 2% to land Zion.

Zion in the land of Zion?

I think its destiny
