Yeah, Jae needs to be a 20 mpg player, not a 30 mpg. But Utah doesnt have better options. The Jazz need both a solid two-way PG and an athletic forward/wing who is better than Jae Crowder.

The game can be summed up in the 4th quarter, where the Jazz manufactured open looks from 3 that were missed. Exum missed an open corner 3, Burks missed one, Crowder missed one or two. These were open, high-quality looks. The game is on the line, you get a guy an open 3-pt shot, he's got to make a higher percentage. That's the difference.
When the Kings got open looks, they knocked down the shots. Bogdonovich and Bjelica put us away. The Jazz contained everyone else.
Crowder has been good, in fact I’d rather he moved to the starting lineup.
Yep, I got to agree. Lindsey has some work to do.I wish I could say it's a one player addition thing, but I don't think it is.
A long *** time lmao. How long before we pack it in and see what we have in Allen and Niang given meaningful minutes?

I would say the same of Favors, Rubio and One-hand Joe. But as you say Utah doesnt have better options.Yeah, Jae needs to be a 20 mpg player, not a 30 mpg. But Utah doesnt have better options.
To my eye the problem is our lack of offense and opposing coaches adjusting to Gobert, pulling him away from the rim. Also exploiting switches, and we have no counter. We don’t have the talent on offense to make people pay for sagging off our shooters (it’s a stretch calling them shooters, I know) and clogging the lane.
He's more versatile than Favors, but shooting only 31% from 3 and only grabbing 5 boards doesn't make him a solid starter if you're trying to win.
IMO the biggest issue right now is that the Jazz have too many defensive specialist who are too poor on offense to play, and when I say that I mean Exum and O'Neale. They are the two defensive athletes we got, but they are so pathetic this year offensively it's tough to play them.
Just thinking how the Jazz could switch up things a bit. At least he’s consistently intense during the game.
I did and it was an incredible ride but I don’t believe that happens again. Teams have figured out how to negate The Gobert effect and we aren’t surprising anyone. Hope things improve but something has to change. No way we win it all this year anyway so we see what we have before this summer and go from there. Everyone saying this guy is trash, that guy is trash but without minutes how do you know. Had Mitchell not had extended minutes who knows where he is now in his progression.Did you not watch last season?
