Niko, though not starting or playing in crunch because of the tank, was viewed positively and on an upward trend. Jabari has gone from being a #2 pick that his team gave up on, to getting one offer with a tanking team, to getting benched, to being totally out of the rotation, plus some attitude issues. Niko would have hit the summer market with value, so he wanted to push to going somewhere that would be a good fit. Completely different.
ariza and oubre haven't been that much different this season.
wth is washington doing?
Mirotic and Jabari's contracts are the same(just different numbers) - they are 1 year contracts + 1 year team option. Favors' contract is different. It's 2 years contract with the second year non-guaranteed. The reason Jabari(and Mirotic last year) have the right to veto is because players have the right to veto trades during a 1 year contract. Favors cannot do that because technically his contract is 2 years, not 1... just the second year is not guaranteed(another stroke of genius from DL).
Ariza is a more reliable player and may be better at defending 4s. Given their salary situation, they weren't going to be able to pay Oubre.
What a stupid ****ing stat. Its semi accurate for like the top10 players on good teams. Then strays off with a bunch of anomalies that cant be explained while trying to stay consistent in your belief that its definitive proof of how good of a basketball player you are.
But yet, you will still throw it out there as if it actually means something.
Lets name a few people listed with a higher RPM than Gobert
Paskal Sakiam ( who has a higher RPM than Kawhi)
Robert Covington(Who also has a higher RMP than Kawhi)
Danilio Gallinari(Who also has a higher RPM than Kawhi
Eric Bledsoe(yep, higher than Kawhi.)
Joe Ingles
Nikola Vucevic
And a few others.
So yep, all those players rated higher than Gobert and Kawhi.
Why stop there
Nemanja Bjelica
Boban Marjanovic
Jusuf Nurkic
All 3 higher than Kawhi.
Lets point out some more stupid ****.
Noah Vonleh, Dwight Powell, Kelly Olynyk higher than Victor Oladipo. All 3 in the top 40 of the NBA.
Bradley Beal and John Wall way doen the list at 110 and 111, with a bunch of trash in front of them.
Clint Capela at 284.
Klay Thompson at 316. Yep, that dude is trash. Wouldnt touch him with a 10 foot pole.
Anytime there is a NBA player who is also a Mormon you have to give them real serious consideration due to Cultural fit. Those Jazz fans that live overseas are just Not going to understand.
Right.Wow you wasted a lot of time and bandwidth. I wouldn't have posted Jabari's RPM rating this year unless he sucked at it EVERY YEAR. Which he has. Maybe not league worst, but bottom 30 year after year.Hundreds of games....
I don't give a rats *** about 30 game sample size anomalies you posted there. If you think the stat is somehow singling out Jabari or doesn't recognize his value, let us know what stat you want to use to justify his worth. Good luck!
It could have an effect. And by effect, I mean the same kind of effect of saving money on your water bill when filling your pool by peeing in it.Okay, so follow along with me really quickly -
- So the Lakers are going to try to trade some or all 4 of their young core (Lonzo, Kuzma, Ingram and/or Hart) and picks for Anthony Davis.
- what if, just if, Kuzma refuses to go to New Orleans? What if he demanded to go to Utah if he leaves LA? Think he could force New Orleans' hand to where Kuzma goes to us as a 3rd team and we send New Orleans a **** ton of assets?
I know my idea is ridiculous, but if Kuzma says he won't go to NOLA and wants Utah, what is NOLA supposed to do?It could have an effect. And by effect, I mean the same kind of effect of saving money on your water bill when filling your pool by peeing in it.
Tell him to pack his bags. I’m not sure they’d need to do anything besides trade him to NOLA.I know my idea is ridiculous, but if Kuzma says he won't go to NOLA and wants Utah, what is NOLA supposed to do?
