What to do if D-Will 2 slides

It's not just a defensive issue with Williams playing the 3 spot, imo. His handles are suspect for an NBA sf .. too many turnovers and too few assists (at the college level playing PF to assume his offense will translate well to the SF in the pros. He may be great, in fact, I think he will be, I just think he's a stretch 4 and entirely redundant on this team.

While I agree with your concerns, especially on defense. His handle doesn't bother me at all. How much do the Jazz ask their SF to really handle the ball? As long as he can hit the 3, post up smaller players, can finish around the basket, and drive to the rim he can play the 3 in the Jazz system.

**** head, the Wolves have been offered Bynum,Nash,Gortat,Pau and others. The Jazz would be crazy to not listen to offers

Actually I would take the Phx deal Gortat and the 13th pick for D.Will2 Then draft Jimmer and Singleton.

Harris, Jimmer
Hayward, Bell
Miles, Singleton
Favors, Millsa
Jefferson, Gortat

Wow, I now really hope that Dwill falls to Utah at 3!! Thats a contending team!!!

While I like Gortat, I would hope Williams would land us someone a bit more talented.

In fact, Andy Katz at ESPN.com is now saying that the Jazz are leaning toward Kanter.

That's surprising but then this whole thing seems pretty fluid. For the record, (1) if Dwill2 is available, take him and (2) I still predict Jazz take Knight.

These are the droids you are looking for (the article)

• Utah is deciding among four players at No. 3 with two of them likely not within its reach. If Irving and Williams are indeed gone by the time they come on the clock, the Jazz are leaning toward Kanter over Brandon Knight of Kentucky, but that remains a fluid discussion for management.

Also, if the Wolves pass on Williams then that tells me they seriously think Utah is considering Kanter at 3, because they could easily trade down to 4 with Cleveland (and still get Kanter if the popular belief was correct that Utah was going Knight).

Take Williams and run away giggling like a school girl because you may have gotten the top player in the draft at #3.

People want to forget that he's one of the best shooters in NCAA history, a pure scorer from everywhere, and a hard worker.

Hmmmmmmmmm Wonder why teams would be offering such good players for him. Hmmm all-stars and mvp players being offered. I wonder why? Because he is regarded by many teams to be a special talent is why. Draft him and keep him! Exposive players around the rim that can shoot lights out from the 3 land are special my friend.

Trade him and trade him fast....Hibbert and the 15th maybe Granger/15 for Williams. Maybe Willaims and Okur for Gay. I still Like Gortat,13 for Williams

Man, I had long resigned and moved from the idea of the Jazz drafting Williams at #3. Chad Ford has made me excited about the possibility again. Kind of pisses me off, actually, since I still think Minnesota takes Williams.

I'm sure KOC has already fielded many contingency offers on this. If he doesn't like them, you take Williams and don't look back. But there might be some interesting offers.
