Jazz are emerging as serious threats to sign Bojan Bogdanovic

His career rebounding numbers are meh... so zero percent has to do with the other guys.

Royce has the best size of any of those guys to play the 4.

Bojan has a 1 inch longer wingspan than Royce. His standing reach is longer than Eric Paschall’s. So he does have better size. Bojan’s vert was also 11 inches better than Royce’s at their respective combines. 36 inches to 25.

Regarding rebounding, again, maybe playing on the perimeter hurts his numbers a lot. I’d be curious how his numbers stack up to other shooting guards and small forwards.

How much of his mediocre rebounding numbers are due to primarily playing on the perimeter and having Sabine’s/Young/Turner around him?

Also I think he has better size than Royce and Ingles.

Rebounding numbers have been quite consistent throughout his career, even when playing much more PF with Wizards. So I wouldn't expect an uptick.

Better size than Royce (at least height), but not than Ingles. He's listed at 6-8, but he looks a tad smaller than Hayward, as I was just rewatching one of their games. Ingles is just a bit taller than Hayward.

I like Bogie our at the perimeter. Spot 4 time.

I’d prefer another starting 4. Someone bigger and stronger. Boston Morris and Jabari Parker would be perfect. Young Rudy Gay (how much does he have in the tank).

I agree. I have no issues whatsoever with using Bojan, Ingles and Royce as our primary 4's this season. We have the beast at center.

Listen I do have issues with it. I’d still very much like to sign Green to start and back up Gobert. And another legit sized 4.

Bjelica or Ilyasova if the Jazz can move on from Exum helps answer the question about the 4.

Conley-32, Caruso-16
Mitchell-32, Exum-16
Ingles-18, O’Neale-15, Bojan-15
Green-12, Bojan-14, Ingles-11, O’Neale-11
Gobert-32, Green-16

For the long haul of the season, I agree with you. For the playoffs, I'm fine. I'm more worried about backup center.

I wouldn't be too concerned about back up C, the C market is going to be pretty cold compared to the rest of the FA market and I think we'll be able to find a serviceable backup C on a decent deal, or spend a bit more to get a 4 who can play spot 5 minutes with the MLE.

His wingspan is better than Joe’s, standing reach worse.

Can we def do a double S&T and get Conley and Bojan while keeping Favors as a couple have said.

That makes no sense to me. We’d be over the cap and you can’t complete trades and end up over the cap.

I don't think so, you'd either trade for Bojan first by S&Ting Rubio for him but then you're short on capspace to accept Conley's contract onto the books unless someone else got involved in the Conley deal like Exum (which I have no idea if they could even do or not), or you do the Conley trade first but then you've renounced Rubio so you can't S&T him.

There's probably some cap magic though that people way more versed in this kind of stuff might know about like some 3 team deal, but that was my general impression at least.

Rubio is expected to sign with the Pacers. They don’t need us. Then they’ll just re-sign Bojan.

I don’t see this happening.
