Utah Jazz Players in the FIBA World Cup(in China)

I'm telling yall the kid ain't a phony... he might be a smart guy that is capitalizing on his stardom but he is authentic... all those guys that come into the league and mention they are cool with DM... there is a reason. He is a good dude willing to help and compliment others... he didn't pay those dudes to say that stuff.

Yes and they’d say the same thing about Kyrie, KD, and anyone else you asked them about. Players are always going to say bubbly things about other players when asked. Listen we can move on. I think DM is legitimately a good dude, that doesn’t mean I’m buying everything he’s selling. Let’s revisit this in a few years and see where it’s at. KD was young and lovey too once upon a time in OKC.

I guess Donovan just has great timing. I know Joe and him are friends. The timing/pandering it takes to send out that tweet given you’re pandering to your closest audience for the week is fake to me. Does he send that congratulations if he’s not in Australia this week? Nah. He’d make a great politician.
Who cares? There's literally 1 degree of separation between them.

Players don't always say bubbly things... and that's not what I'm referring to. It's more the guys like Mikal Bridges saying he and DM talked when he was traded on draft night and that they are close... lots of other dudes have said similar things. He a charismatic guy... nothing kills charisma like being unauthentic... but sure.

Kyrie was always a bit of a mystery and moody... KD is genuine imo… He is too much of a people pleaser and has rabbit ears. those guys left teams... not saying DM will or won't leave us... no reason not to believe he is completely real though. I don't remember him saying he would stay here his whole career. Said pre-draft he wanted to be here... he's been consistent with that, but things can change.

For every Kyrie or KD there is a Steph or a Dame. I don't think DM is a phony... I've seen too much evidence to the contrary. If he leaves Utah in a few seasons it really won't change that for me.

But I agree... we can bury this convo… I'll root for the guy and you wait for him to slip up... sounds like a fun way to live.

Mitchell might be try-hard and corny, but he isnt fake.

Not sure why we looking for a reason to bag on a guy who has been beyond phenomenal to our franchise and fanbase... just weird. Dude acting like he's the mom selling essential oils to her friends on Facebook.

Don's looking pretty ripped...

All CGI and camera angles... he not even working out... just promos and world tours.

For reals doe.... looks great.

This is the first entry for #musclewatch. Training camp is my favorite... if you don't add a rumored 15 lbs of muscle then GTFO.

I was playing devils advocate with you Oneye.

As I said before, I think Don is a good dude and I believe most of the stuff comes from a good place with him.

I also have absolutely zero doubt that he is a shrewd operator and him and his team know exactly how to run his PR campaign, for purposes of building his brand the right way.

His shoe being sold much cheaper is also two-fold. Firstly, it's coming from a real place of kids wanting to have real access to his shoe, but it is also an incredibly smart PR move for him, and his brand.

I think if anybody thinks that everything that Don does is due to him being a good guy and only due to that, is a little naive. However, what the people on the board have an issue with is the word fake, which is clearly a derogatory term.

I forgot about this, him endorsing DoTerra essential oils, we have our proof.

Fake is probably the wrong word. Sorry everyone.

Maybe this is more aptly put. I like Donovan, a lot, he’s a good dude, I just feel like he constantly tries so hard to get everyone to like him all the time, he’s far from a dude who doesn’t care what you think about him. I just feel like it gets a little desperate at times how hard he tries with it.

Also yes, he’s absolutely put on plenty of muscle. Dons going to have a huge year I think. I think he has MVP level capability within the next few seasons.
