You haven't watched Conley's defense in the past, even though he's been in the NBA for over 11 years. And your judgement of him has been what you have seen through the pre-season?
Well my friend, you opinion of anyone means nothing. You've never payed attention to someone that has been a starting PG in the Western Conference for over a decade and just noticed he showed up on the Jazz roster, so thought you'd watch him and you're not satisfied based on his pre-season play.
Quit watching basketball right now. Your not a fan, and I don't even know what you are. But your opinion is garbage. You have never watched Conley play in over a decade!!!?? Wow. I wouldn't be bragging about that right about now, and I definitely wouldn't be formulating an opinion.
Damn who's that hawt piece of ***?
I suppose I should rephrase it, Rubio was a better on-ball, switching, and post defender. Conley is a better passing lane off ball defender. And also based on who he was playing with. A real comp can’t even be made until Conley has played with Rudy for a year. So we will have to check back on this.

Holiday, Bledsoe, and Conley are all effective two-way guards who often lead their teams on the defensive end. Since they guard the opposing ball handler most often, they set the tone defensively. Bledsoe relies on his athleticism and strength, while Conley and Holiday are just very skilled with great intangibles.Any thoughts on this tiered ranking by fadeawayworld.net? They have Conley on tier 2:

I think there is a good chance it will take 20 to 30 games for us to really hit our stride. Wouldn't be surprised for us to be just over .500 at 20 games, maybe even longer. We swapped out pretty important pieces in our lineup. Conley's skills should age well. It's not time to hit the alarm button until 20-30 games in.
