What's new

The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

I work for a private university, and have adjunct gig at a community college. Does that count?

If it counts in your own mind, it counts.

But seriously, today.... it's political immersion in the culture of "hope"..... or "the way things are" as the barnyard duck tells me.

And, as a sort of "Babe" in the barnyard, with no Farmer Hogget in my pocket, I am just generously attributing my influence to the outside track, and burbling a bit about what really anchors people's values otherwise....

bye for a few days...

Seems to me that a lot of what you say is based upon the worst possible interpretation of his motives. Much of this stuff is so pervasive in the mainstream media that people getting their news exclusively from those sources see it all as fact.

Maybe you can see noble motives in things like this, but I cannot.

Not to mention the Ukraine extortion of course.

Just a friendly reminder that Trump is a racist POS, who depends on white nationalism to maintain support.

Oh jeez. Here we go. @colton, the valiant Never Trumper Human Scum Enemy of the People, is once again taking Trump's actions and assuming the worst.

So now we have two people, Trump and Gates saying two different things. Both aren't exactly angels. So who are we going to trust?

Trump is imperfect. Gates is imperfect. Hillary is imperfect. Biden is imperfect. Vlad is imperfect. How can we judge anyone, right or wrong? What's the difference between Truth and Lies, doesn't perspective mean everything? What Trump thinks is truth it might be a lie for Gates and vice versa.

I mean, the United States is imperfect, Russia is imperfect, Ukraine is imperfect, North Korea is imperfect. What does corrupt and incorrupt mean? What is right? What is wrong? What is truth? What is falsehood? Who are we to judge?

Both sides could be right and both sides could be wrong.

So let's just let all of this slide and give the man 5 more years in the White House...

It is possible that he had no recollection of that conversation, or that Gates recalled a conversation that Trump was not actually a part of, or even that he recalled a conversation that didn't happen. Furthermore, discussion of Wikileaks is not a crime. Do you know the substance of the supposed discussion? Are you also upset that Biden claims that he never had any discussions with Hunter about Ukraine, that he claims that he did not know that Hunter was on the board of Burisma, and also claims that he told Hunter "I hope you know what you're doing in Ukraine"? Those seem to be contradictory statements, all given by the same person.

Regarding Ukraine, you are clearly a lot quicker to conclude that there was extortion than I am. The Ukranian officials who were supposedly extorted seem to be in agreement with me. Maybe that is because CNN is correct that Trump is a mob boss who they don't dare cross, or maybe CNN is jumping ahead of themselves just like they did with the Muller Report.

I'm upset enough to vote against Biden in the Democratic primary, but we can't impeach Biden at the moment. If Hunter Biden's ties to the Ukraine affect some position by POTUS Biden, impeach him then.

or maybe CNN is jumping ahead of themselves just like they did with the Muller Report.

The report that resulted in multiple convictions, showed Trump's campaign colluded, and that Trump obstructed justice?

Some of this is correct. The part about Colton is not. Can you point to anyone on this site who has ever said anything like that? Believe it or not, it's possible for people to have a discussion and even disagree without name calling.

Put down the Kool-Aid, you're drunk.

Jeez seriously people?

Colton absolutely is a Never Trumper Human Scum. Charlie Sykes, Tom Nichols, David Frum, Mitt Romney, they're all Human Scum!

I didn't label him that. Nor did anyone on this site label him that. Personally I like Colton. However, someone else labeled him Human Scum... Maybe you should pay attention to what Donald actually says and does? Maybe your ignorance on what he says explains your ill-informed opinion on what he’s about?

Watch out for those Never Trumpers, they are Human Scum!

Judging by Donald’s twitter feed, he seems very calm and rational today.
Any excuse I can get to post this little thing I made, I'll take it.

The public impeachment hearings have begun. I expect Trump to lose his **** in the coming days to the point that many people on the fence start turning on him.

Do you think he'll have the energy to keep up with it longer than two weeks?

"Thrill, remind me again why you advocate voting against all Repubs. You sound so mean and bigoted and mean. Aren't both sides the same?"

Watch Devin Nunes's wacky opening impeachment speech and compare it to Schiff's.

Wow, such an assinine, unhinged opening statement from Nunes. WTF does all that **** he said have to do with Trump's Ukraine actions which are on tape and have witnesses?
