Morgan kind of is a center. Dude is a great rebounder and skilled. I like the signing but kind of sad they released Kidd without giving him a shot.Would have made a hell of a lot more sense to sign a center to a 10 day first.......
No, that doesnt mean that. Green is fine defensively at center, he just doesnt rebound. Brantley is pretty average at rebounding as well and doesnt have the defensive experience to play center in the NBA.Neither is Green. If we can play Green there we can play Brantley there.
It's amazing that he grew from 6-8 to 6-9 all during the time it took to write that article. That alone should help him play center.
I was really excited...until I read that they released him just so they could sign Juwan Morgan.
Lol last night I predicted he would replace Kidd next year. Didn't think it'd happen the next day. This guy is a player if he can hit the 3 somewhat consistently. How much money did Kidd make for being on the team for like 15 games? Was it just his camp guarantee and then a prorated minimum or something? Or was his min deal fully guaranteed?
Morgan has started the last three games at center for the Stars, all wins.
If he plays the 5...After watching his highlights from the G League this season I think it makes sense. Can catch and finish the bounce pass on pick and roll or the lob. Wide big body so sets good screens. Seems like a solid passer and that he knows where to be. Can handle and moves his feet well on defense. Straight stood a couple guys up on drives and you could tell he's strong AF. I would like to see him play some on Friday.
I think the idea here is that ideally we wouldn't play Green at the 5.
Small sample, but enough to know Bradley ain’t it. Lindsey whiffed on a #30 pick. It happens. If he plays the 5...
... it means DL’s prized guy that’s in his third year was able to be replaced by someone off the scrap heap who’s never played a minute in the NBA.
I have no problem with that. What I’ll have a problem with is the insistence that we can salvage something. DL strikes me as a guy who has a drawer full of old batteries, not quite wanting to let go of the very minimal amount of charge he may be able to draw out of them if he shakes them vigorously.Small sample, but enough to know Bradley ain’t it. Lindsey whiffed on a #30 pick. It happens.
