Last year, we were upset because we didn't have enough offense around Rudy so we traded out Rubio for Conley and Favors/Crowder for Bogey.
This year, the argument is that we don't have enough defense around Rudy.
So which one is it? Do we need Mitchell and a bunch of Kawhi Leonards to make it work? We know that ain't happening.
My argument is hinging all our hopes to an offensively limited/great defensive center in a mostly centerless league is unwise. The best offensive center in the league outplayed our best defensive weapon at his own position.
Mitchell is the future. Build around him. Quit doing stupid Conley deals that take the ball out of his hands. Dont overpay Rudy. It would be the death of the early Mitchell era.
