Yay, the Colt's don't look like complete trash out there! At least for a half.
True, the Bucs seem to have a tendency to keep all their games close though. No doubt Freeman and the Bucs will win the game.

You are that confident that that they will win in San Francisco late in the season? I think the Niners will win that game. It certainly not the easy win you make it out to be with what you said.Damn.. the Steelers are in a world of hurt with all these injuries
Big Ben - Ankle
2 Linemen Out
Mendenhall - Hammy
Now Harrison has a broken Orbital Bone and is out.....
Tennessee at home this week and should be a good game. Have confidence that the Steelers will get through these first 9 weeks at least 5-4 (2-2 right now) and then set up for the 'easy' 7 game stretch that I can see them going 5-2 at worst if not 7-0. That will put them in the hunt for a wildcare if not the AFC North (Depending on how the Ravens continue to play)

Did you forget that division winners automatically make the playoffs? Did you also forget a Seattle team with a record of 7-9 won the NFC West last season? Did you also forget that the 49ers at this point lead the NFC west by 2 full games, only 4 games into the season? The 49ers are easily the best team in the NFC West right now, and still have 5 divisional games remaining. How you can say the 49ers will be out the of the playoff picture by that point is beyond me.Did I say easy win? I said easy part of the schedule the last 7 games..
Also if you can read I said 5-2 if not 7-0. I think they drop a game or possibly 2 but if you look at the schedule, 7-0 is very possible.
The Niners just had a 'miracle' or shoudl I say the Eagles folded. Either way they are atop their conference. I do think the Steelers win the game vs. the Niners.. why? Few reasons...
Niners most likely (In my opinion) could be out of the playoff picture at that time. NO, GB, NFC EAST, TB, ATL, DET - too many good teams that will eliminate them.
The Steelers most likely will still be in the playoff hunt in the AFC. Only a few teams have stuck out as clear cut playoff teams (NE, BALT, Possibly SD). Oakland may be there, Jets should be there, Houston/Tennessee will battle it out in the South. Like I mentioned, if the Steelers are at 5-4 through 9 the last 7 games set up VERY well for them.
The Steelers defense vs. Alex Smith - Do I need to explain?
The only thing that would hold back the Steelers is if we have additional injuries to what we already have. 2 Starting linemen out that were sorry to begin with, an injured QB, a starting RB that now has a bad hammy.
Too much to say at this point as things can change big time right now vs. then but if all things stayed equal the Steelers would be favored on the road. Also most 'road' games for the Steelers are not fair road games as I doubt you have been to one. Example is 2 years ago at the Broncos game on Monday night... 30-40% Steelers fans for a Monday night game in which the Broncos were 5-1 at the time. If I was a betting man that will happen definately in San Fran as well as I am considering going to that game the week for X Mas.
NFC South is still the most legit division.

For your viewing pleasure... HGHarrison gets his face broken. I hope somebody bought that lineman a beer after the game.
According to the NFL rulebook, a runner can declare himself down "by falling to the ground, or kneeling, and making no effort to advance."
After the game Cruz said he thought he was touched which he why he went down. This of course makes no sense.
Ironically, the real reason he went down is he's a rookie playing for Tom Coughlin and he's horrified of fumbling the football. A rookie fumbling the ball in the crucial situation under Tom Coughlin is an automatic death sentence.
The third best WR for the Cowboys sure did have one hell of a game for the Lions....
Tony romo is making a strong case for being this generation's Bret Farve. He'll wow you one game. Then completely blow it the next.
Ultimately, Dallas would be served better with just an "average" QB that won't do anything "great" but won't do anything "bad." They have already a pretty solid defense and some really nice offensive weapons. They just need someone who doesn't shoot the team in the foot constantly trying to "make the big play."
Give the Cowboys Hasselback, Fitzpatrick, Stafford, Eli, or Josh Freeman and they'd be super bowl contenders. With Romo, they're nothing more than fools gold since he cannot be trusted.
