NFL Talk

The "Dream Team" thought about everything but that unimportant stuff, you know, those beefy tough players in the middle of the field. It doesn't matter how many explosive receivers you have, as long as your O-line can't block a chair. It doesn't matter how many great DBs you sign, as long as your interior defense can't tackle.

Eagles are epic fail

Yeah, 1-2. Their season's over.

The NFC East being overrated talk is hilarious too. They don't have a dominant team, a team like the Pats that make you scared, but over the last four years, they've averaged 8.0, 8.5, 9.5 and 10.0 wins per team in the division. Pretty ****ing good considering they beat up one another and have no cream puffs in the division.

Redskins aren't cream puffs?

I said they were going to win a Super Bowl?

Well, that's what I believe the other poster meant when they said "Eagles are an epic fail". They are clearly suppose to be a team that is suppose to contend for the Superbowl. Not doing so would be a wasted season to me.

It's coming from The Thriller who quite frankly might be certifiably...well you know...anyway, his post was beyond dumb. Most of his response revolves around the importance of an offensive line and how it's crucial toward winning and how the Eagles did nothing to address that. Two of the last three Super Bowl winners had ****ty offensive lines. Pitt's was God awful three years ago and the Pack's wasn't much better last year though not in that Bears category. I'm not saying an o-line isn't important. I think it's huge too. And admittedly, the Eagles was poor/mediocre last year. But it's not as if teams can't succeed with a mediocre one or that the Eagles didn't address it by using their 1st rounder on a lineman and signing a couple via free agency.

I suppose it would have only satisfied The Thriller had the Eagles used every pick on some mudders but what are you gonna do. Eagles are epic fail.

NINES WIN!!!! The 49ers beat the Eagles 24-23!!! What a great comeback win on the road, with Vick playing. Down 20-3 at halftime, the Niners outscored the Eagles 21-3 in the second half to take the win!! Niners are now 3-1, with the 1 loss coming in OT. I am loving the Jim Harbaugh era so far. It is so great to finally have a head coach who knows how to coach.

Your team still blows.

That was an impressive win. Niners should be 4-0.

Wow. With team stability, a good headcoach, and an actual comprehensive NFL offense, Alex Smith looks much better than all of his haters would have you believe.

And for the record, I thought Jim Harbaugh was something special and would be the first guy to make a dent in the horrific post-Young tradition of the '9ers.
