Those guys are in big trouble. Giving up over 5ypc to Addai while getting your QB tenderized is no way to return to the SB. That's a near-guaranteed Indy win if Painter had pulled his head out of his butt 1 possession sooner. Once he settled in he looked a lot better than Collins did.

Won't disagree with you completely... but...

Steelers did turn the ball over 3 times and only forced 1 (The Fumble/Touchdown).

The held them to 240 total yards of offense.

Shouldn't have been that close but after Big Ben got hit a few times by potentially the top 2 DE's in the league he got happy feet. The Steelers O Line is horrible and it was bad last year. That is the only reason I was pissed that Pouncy was selected by the Dolphins because he would have stepped in at RG next to his brother no problem. The Steelers have talent on the offensive side of the ball (Top 10 back in Mendenhall, Top 10 QB in Big Ben, Top 10 WR's - Wallace/Sanders/Ward/Brown, Underrated TE in Heath Miller) but the line is just brutal.

The only thing that concerns me on the defensive side of the ball is any injury to Polamalu. He is the gears that makes this defense work.

I will grant that the Pitts line looked almost as shaky before last season started too. But I've never seen Pig Ben look as scared as he was last night. On many plays he was running around looking for the DEs instead of receivers. Gonna be a long year for Benny, everybody has good pass rushers in the AFCN this season.

Maybe they can work a trade but it's just not easy to come up with a decent tackle on the fly. I don't think that defense is quite what it had been so far either. Can't really say what it is, but they aren't dominating. Might be some of those guys are feeling their age a bit.

Unfortunately there is no tackle that the Steelers can get on the fly.. we have to hope that our rookie develops and they can hold up like last year.

One positive is if they can get through the first 9 games or so the back end of our schedule is very favorable. If they can get to lets say 6-3 through 9 then I can see them going 12-4 - enough for at least a wildcard and come the playoffs its a crapshoot anyways.

Cheifs are DOA. Rams can't win much until Bradford has somebody to throw to. I wouldn't pencil in the others. 9ers are leading their division and just barely lost to Dallas. They are sporting a +18 differential. Not a cupcake. The Bengals, I was impressed with Dalton in Week 1, Green is really good and their DEs are super athletic. Both of those teams have legit weapons and good players on D.

I won't brag on my Brownies too much until we beat you. I'll just say the gap is looking smaller and closing. Really glad to be playing all the tougher looking games late in the season.

Can someone help me understand why the hell the Seahawks would trade Hasselbeck and then replace him with Tavaris ****ing Jackson?

For ****s sake, the Romo love is absurd. The Cowboys won, barely, at home, because The Redskins suck *** - they may win 4 more games the rest of the year.

Sadly my Phins over Thanksgiving will be one of those wins, the game will go similar to the 9'ers game they'll do enough to show they could've and should've won but then do/have several stupid mornic things in succession to remind you why they lose.

I meant The Redskins will only win 4 more games the rest of the season.

Every year there are a couple of fake good teams that start the season 2-0 - this year Washington was one of those teams.

I got the Cowboys at 9 or 10 wins.

The Dolphins have problems. Henne can't run the offense in a short field; which is unforgivable when you have Brandon Marshall as your #1 WR and a solid TE like Fasano. Bush has been God awful. Lucky for Miami it looks like Daniel Thomas could be a servicable feature back - otherwise their entire running game would be totally F'ed.

Both the Cowboys and Redskins suck, neither are playoff team. At least the Cowboys have the excuses of injuries though. I thought Shanahan's play calling in the 4th quarter was totally crap and made them lose the game.

The "Dream Team" thought about everything but that unimportant stuff, you know, those beefy tough players in the middle of the field. It doesn't matter how many explosive receivers you have, as long as your O-line can't block a chair. It doesn't matter how many great DBs you sign, as long as your interior defense can't tackle.

Eagles are epic fail

As usual the NFC East is highly over-rated.

I think 10 wins will win the division (again)
Agreed. And everyone knows it's all about the NFC North and AFC East. Those are going to be awesome races, especially since Chicago is going to be exposed as hackville once again.
