I wonder what the minutes situation will look like this year. Have to think there will be a higher emphasis on resting Gobert given the more compact schedule.
No offense, but I think you've gone off the deep end.Spellman makes Favors irrelevant.
I think the Harrell signing for LA is brilliant. He is a work horse. You'll have guys working hard to guard AD and LBJ while the other guys are gonna have to work hard to keep Harrell off the boards. Defensively, he's more useful on the perimeter than McGee and Howard were.We forgot the part about some bigs being able to shoot a basketball as well as being big.
I didn't totally get the Trez signing, but this signing swings that from "questionable" to "aw **** me".
And he'll have both space AND size at the other big spot at all times.I think the Harrell signing for LA is brilliant. He is a work horse. Spellman and Evans make a total of less than 4mil next season. someone just tell me why can't the jazz take back their salary in this case? because they need the space to secure the signature of tucker, niang, NWG?
Also show some loyalty to your guys.Because we don’t need to go even more into the luxury tax for guys who aren’t going to play anyways?
we are talking about NWG, Tucker, Brantley or even Niang whose 2021 salary isn't guaranteed. just waive two of these guys we'll have space for Spellman and Evans, plus we'd gain a second round pick instead of losing two. If you'll have to go into the tax anyways, why not spend the money on guys who'd actually have a chance to play, like Spellman. or you are just content at going into the season with 14 or even 13 active players on the roster WHILE paying the LT?Because we don’t need to go even more into the luxury tax for guys who aren’t going to play anyways?
Yep. He fits next to Kuz, AD, and LeBron. Probably Gasol too.And he'll have both space AND size at the other big spot at all times.
I honestly completely forgot about Kuzma. That's a terribly versatile big rotation, especially considering James' ability to play there as well.Yep. He fits next to Kuz, AD, and LeBron. Probably Gasol too.
The Lakers have destroyed this offseason.
