Miye Oni clearly surpasses O'Neale this year. Becomes successor to Joe Ingles and is a starter by the end of the season.
That’s pretty hot... sounds like fun to me. He’s pretty intriguing.Miye Oni clearly surpasses O'Neale this year. Becomes successor to Joe Ingles and is a starter by the end of the season.
Oni/Hughes may be the starting 2/3 of the future.I could see Mitchell and Hughes as the starting backcourt by next season, or even in games later this season if Mike Conley is sitting out. Hughes is offensively more polished and has a higher ceiling than Oni.
I said there was a path to the starting lineup for Oni last year. So, not so hot.
Look he may have microwaved your hot take from last year but that **** still gonna burn the roof of your mouf.I said there was a path to the starting lineup for Oni last year. So, not so hot.

Kind of agree. Oni does the right things on the court generally, but sometimes doesn't seem so smooth and natural doing them. Sometimes it seems that his tempo is just not quite right. If he can get this (and the jump shot) down, he has a chance.Oni has a flaw I think he needs repetition of what the coach wants him to do to catch on. He is different than Morgan who gets it instantly. Oni's head actually gets in the way sometimes. He would be better if he stopped overthinking.
