This guy was later interviewed on CNN and said, "I should have just stayed in my parents basement and smoked my weed and none of this would have ever happened but I had to get out of the house. My parents kept saying it wasn't normal for a 31 year old to not have a job and live with their parents. At least now I can tell them that I met a lot of people at the protest who are just like me."

This is typical police behavior. Assuming the person who threw the tear-gass cannister at the people helping the downed man is ever identified, the most he'll face is a suspension, and probably not that.

Or so you say as you bed your third wife of the day.

Would Americans allow Iraqis, Afghans, and Libyans to invade our country and aid us against an oppressive government/violent police force?

Hilarious how things change when the shoe is on the other foot.....

Actually, the guy is a 2 term Iraqi vet and he is still in critical condition in the hospital right now.

How ironic will it be if he survived 2 terms fighting a war for this country, and then he gets killed on American soil by the police who were trying to suppress his constitutionally guaranteed freedoms?

Great post. This country is run by a bunch of hypocrites.

You've not yet procreated I hope.

Nice side step.

What gives us the right to form a country in whatever imagine we desire when we'd resist any attempt by a foreign country to do the same to us?

Until Americans realize this, anti-American hatred and large deficits will continue.

The best anti-terrorism strategy would be getting the hell out of a lot of these areas, leave them to tear or build each other, and shut down half the bases we have scattered around the world. The best deficit reducing measures would be to STOP being the policemen of the world. Send these Americans back home to power REAL jobs.

If we stopped messing in their business, the fuel that feeds their fire would be shut off.

Once again, love the sterotypes.

As if all Tea Baggers are employed, have college education, and aren't living in their parents basements.

LOL

I just love how some media outlets are tripping over themselves trying to dismiss the Occupy protesters while trying to act as if the Tea Baggers were any different.

I'm guessing you'd find the Occupy protesters to be at least as well educated, employed, etc as any other protest group.

Has anyone ever told you you take this **** way too seriously?

Certainly more educated than the average illiterate tea bagger screaming that Obama is an illegal alien at some redneck rally.

That guy in the video was not some unemployed bum. He was a 2 term Iraq war vet. I saw his room mate (who is also an Iraq war vet, they served together) on a news show the other day, so I know he didn't live in his parents' basement either.

But according to Thriller being a soldier ain't a real job.

Actually, listening to NPR, they paint the picture that many of the "Occupy" protestors are unemployed with few prospects and just don't have anything else to do. In some areas, notably San Francisco and Chicago they have stopped offering food, or limited the food offered during the protests to "beans and rice" to help keep down the influx of homeless to get a free meal. Of course they didn't give stats as to how many people in the protests fit this demo, but it was significant enough that organizers felt they needed to do something about it and it made it onto NPR and some other news sources.

By the way, the use of "Tea Baggers" to support your position that THEY are the ones using false stereotypes sure does say something about you. Hypocritical much?
